Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomMy neighbour was talking very loudly early in the morning, and she woke me up. I know that the bunker staff cannot control this. But other than that, I slept like a log.
The staff was incredibly kind, helpful, and friendly. The beds were comfortable, and the sleeping bags were warm. It was a fantastic and intriguing experience, especially for those who love history and unique places. This destination is perfect for individuals who appreciate authenticity and aren’t accustomed to luxury. I look forward to returning with my children and family.

Czech RepublicIt's a bunker with a rich history, which I recommend to visit, especially with a guide. Don't expect any huge comfort, as it is kept in authentic communist equipment. Also 2-3 nights is enough to get the feel of the isolation. Breakfast included was a nice bonus to the low budget stay.

Cool experience right by the town centre. Not the most comfortable stay but you kind of know what you're getting in too. More about the experience and history of the building. Staff really friendly and breakfast was simple but tasty.

HungaryAs others have noted, the biggest annoyance is the door closing mechanism installed on the doors. The door closers are so strong they slam the doors shut with a bang that echoes through the bunker, every time. So you can only really sleep between 1-2am to 7am, because as soon as somebody comes or goes you're woken by a bang for each door they pass. Decreasing the strength of the door closers or removing them would fix this issue.
Very authentic and unique experience. Bunker corridors, old furniture, old metal beds, retro sleeping bags, distinct bunker smell, hearing the constant sound of the bunker's air ventilation system. The bunker has a nice, constant colder temperature, which is ideal for sleeping. The beds are definitely hard, but it's part of the authentic bunker experience. I brought my own sleeping bag with me, but the one given for the room should be fine too. Free visit to the bunker museum is great, you can spend multiple hours going though the museum and watching all the documentaries. The included classic, retro style breakfast is also great. I will definitely visit again in the future.

United KingdomAlthough my staying was only 1 night, I would like just to recommend some improvements: more visual signs of where the toilets are,the canteen or the emergency exit. More attention to the dust.
I liked the behaviour of the staff, honest, collaborative, polite. The place itself is completely different than other hostels. Sleeping in a bunker, feels like being in an underground tunnel. Wrapped up with the sleeping bag it was ok. For city lovers,is well close to the centre, busses and trams.

United KingdomA little cold - sleeping bags on the bed were a bit odd but added to the authenticity in a way.
The history is super cool and its a very unique property with very few other hotels/hostels like it! Went in January - not busy at all. Free hostel breakfast included. Basic but nice and good for the price - toast, Czech food, meats, cheese fruit etc were provided (and tea and coffee) Amazing location next to town centre and 10 mins max from old town of Brno. Recommend!

NetherlandsTowels, bedding and pillow are provided. But there was no soap in the showers, that could be an improvement point I guess.
I loved this experience! Do be aware that it is an experience and not your average accommodation. That being said, we visited in January and the temperature/humidity in the bunker was not bothersome at all. The matrasses and beds were better than expected. Overall it was more comfortable than going camping in the spring :)

Slovakiait could be made more clear that the conditions in the rooms are really "military" and you're actually "living the times", which is *not comfortable*. I had an extremely hard mattress and while I enjoyed the experience, my body didn't.
incredible underground space, you're basically staying at a museum of communist memorabilia and state defense

A very special place. Definitely something you'll remember for a long time. If you don't require much comfort and want to experience history up close, this is the perfect spot for you! The furnishings take you back in time and make you reflect on the past.

United KingdomNot too much, it was -2 outside and I didn’t feel cold at all in there. There will be more comfortable beds etc. in hotels but to say you have stayed in a Cold War bunker is pretty cool!
It’s a unique experience which if your staying in Brno is well worth a trip. With the knowledge that you are staying in a Cold War bunker, so don’t expect 5 star facilities and all the comforts in the world but for the experience alone it is well worth it. Location is great as well, only a few mins walk from the main old town square.

IsraelThe staff includes two workers who very loudly talked all night. I'm not fond of sleeping in sleeping bags, unless it's mine and I'm deliberately roughing it.

United StatesThe parking situation here leaves much to be desired! The only option is across the street in an extremely expensive parking garage which will cost more than the total cost of staying in the bunker when it is all said and done. It can be very confusing to know where else to park and the staff member who was on duty when we checked in was totally uninformed. Her response when we inquired about where else to park other than the expensive options at the two parking garages nearby was that she doesn't personally have a car and thus she offer us any answers. I believe this property should provide some clarity as to how or where to secure parking.
Staying in Bunker 10-Z was a real highlight of our month in the Czech Republic. I didn't book it for comfort but for the unique experience and that it was! Its a rare opportunity to experience first hand living in a bunker....don't go looking for comfort or a luxury bathroom because you will be disappointed. I booked with no expectations of comfort but the experience exceeded any and all expectations. Breakfast was all that one needs and was plentiful.
