Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

SlovakiaIt is a minimaliatic experience. A bit cold, a bit uncomfortable beds, basic breakfast.
Different experience. Bunker reminiscences socialist themes. It is well preserved and has realistic feel of old times. Located just below castle and next to Old Town.

NetherlandsWiFi doesn't work in rooms. If anyone used the bathroom at night, the pipes SCREAMED and woke me up. This happened about 3 times a night

BelgiumUnfortunately, we had some loud neighbours. The walls are pretty thin and I guess this kind of hostel attracts a certain type of traveler.
You know what to expect from this stay: authenticity! Yes, the beds are slightly less comfortable, the sleeping bags have very heavy, cold zippers, the pillows are flat. But it’s aaaaall part of the experience. I expected the original showers to be icy cold too, but luckily they were hot! Actually, the showers were nicer than some hotels I’ve stayed at previously. Also the breakfast was pretty good too!

FranceBathroom was very small, the shower curtain too short, no furniture to put your stuff when showering. The fabric of the sheet into the sleeping back was unpleasant texture & bad pillow.
It is an adventure to sleep there. I was fully aware about the basic style of the room in order to be close to the original condition of being/sleeping in a bunker. Even the breakfast matched the Cold War time. And having access to the museum part was a plus. And I appreciated to talk with the receptionnist about the impact, still these days, of the communism on her life & the Czech society.

New ZealandNot much to dislike. The beds were basic and representative of what would be used in wartime so keep that in mind.

SloveniaThe beds could have had identical ''mattresses'', one hard, the other was soft. We were disturbed by the raving of one of the guests.
It's an incredible experience, sleeping in a sleeping bag, no pillow, breakfast with a wide choice of spreads. The day receptionist was very helpful and kind. He helped us with our desire to park the motorbike

United KingdomThe bathrooms left some things to be desired but bear in mind the location and authentic experience.
A nuclear bunker isnt exactly going to be a luxurious experience but it was definitely an interesting vintage one! I recommend headphones to anyone visiting who is sensitive to sound as the ventilation systems can be noisy.

NetherlandsWhen they warn about conditions inside the bunker it's not just the temperature, the humidity remains quite high too. Do not recommend keeping clothes or stuff out in the room. Glad I kept my stay to one night. The wifi inside the room was not stable. Lastly, the bedding is very barebones, not recommended if you seek standard comfort.
Nice opportunity to tour inside a proper bunker that can boast some original preserved elements. The breakfast buffet was plenty and good quality.

CanadaRoom is very humid (underground so it is normal) and bed is hard as rock (bunker standard comfort). Guests should be considerate of other guests and remain quiet in hallways as there is no soundproofing at all.
You book it for the experience of sleeping in a bunker, not for the comfort and amenities! Breakfast is basic but good and replenished frequently. Personnel is friendly.
