Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

Czech RepublicMy room was superhot and oriented towards the very loud street so I could choose between loud or hot night. After I changed rooms it got better. Breakfast is for meat eaters mainly, ham, salami, eggs, saussages, I lacked oatmeal. Hotel requested a security blokage of my card to ensure that they can withraw damage that I cause to their property. I have never ever experienced that and it did not make me feel welcomed. The hotel surroundings on the bank of the river is a construction site.
Parking lot. Communication.

PolandThe room was not equipped according to the description (No iron and ironing board - even in the reception, no coffe for the coffe machine, the fridge was supposed to be fully equiped - nothing except of the info card). It was not mentioned that there is a construction site in front of the hotel. This caused a lot of noise and limited the "available parking spots". This was a suite and supposed to have a +1 bed in the living room. Not recommending the use of this even for sitting, not mentioning the nap, however this was not the "must have". The price was horrible, for such a price the condition should be better.
The room was clean.

AustriaThe reception area is the only thing that has been updated lately. The rest of the hotel is old and shabby. The cleanliness was unsatisfying, the room furniture must be 50 years old - but not in a fancy retro way, just old and disgusting. The whole room has probably been refurbished in the 80´s and that´s what it stilll looks like today. The bed is rock hard and awfully uncomfortable and the floor is made of wood (not just the surface, but wood construction) so it squeaks with every step you make. But the worst part is, that the walls have no sound insulation. The guy in the room next door kept talking until past 11pm and it felt like he´s sitting on the corner of my bed. Also hallway noise and street noise keep you awake. All in all I haven´t felt this uncomfortable in a hotel in a very long time.
The location is quite good and central.

SlovakiaPoor choice of breakfast, very good mixed eggs, average sussages. The worst experience is the juice diluted with water - totally disgusting. Old looking room, it was pretty cold inside.

SlovakiaBath tub with no curtains, so whenever you shower, all the water gets to the bathroom floor. Floor making loud noise when you are walking. No air conditioning. Outdated equipment, the hotel desperately needs renovation. Poor choice of meals for breakfast. I could not even find butter, only margarine.
View from the breakfast. Walking distance from the train station.

HungaryThe faucet had a squealing sound sometimes.
I liked that the interior seemed to have a timeless vibe, without the nowadays fashionable abstract art and transparent/plastic pieces of furniture. The room had a nice view to some cosy gardens and residential buildings of a semi-suburban area. The breakfast space is simply amazing, with a nice view. I also like the naming of the rooms based on characters/families from the hotel's namesake battle.

After few ours we came back and understood that light in the room wasn’t working, in bathroom we haven’t hot water, maximum 20 degrees, impossible to go to shower or bath. FinlandThe noisiest hotel I've ever been to. Especially, do NOT travel here with kids. Would not recommend this place to anyone in any case. Noise from outside, but also from the strairway, hallway, doors banging - could here neighbour taking a bath/having a shower etc. No ventilation in the rooms, bathroom fan lasted about 2 min and went off again. Water comes to the bathroom floor when taking a shower-there's No shower curtain. So the floor was fludding. Staff not helpfull. Ran out of toilet paper when needed to dry the water from the bathroom floor and didn't get any extra paper from the reception!! She said they didn''t have any!! She gave me 2 towels instead. LOL! Breakfast was way below standard. Not going to even start with that. Not worth spending money here, there's way better places in town with the same price range. Better to avoid this place.
Bed was good.
