Located in the Karlín area, it was very convenient for me as I was attending a fair right there. It's an area that is very nice and becoming fashionable, not right in the center of Prague but only 20 min by bus or metro.

The room and bathroom is outdated but that's not bad necessarily. However, mattress was not comfortable at all (sagging) and I could hear other guests from rooms nearby.

Everything was OK, although I'd reccomend different type of dual electric sockets in the room - for example if you use UK/US adapter, you cannot use the second part of the socket (where usually a lamp or the frifge are plugged in) due to the standard adapter size. Also, there was no kettle in the room (you can buy one for about 10 GBP/12 EUR in the nearby electric shops), but you can get the hot water from the vending machine in the lobby. Next, a slight inconvenience was position of the bathroom fan switch - just next to the lights switch, so you if you unintentionally start fan, it has auto switch-off only and keeps going on (cca 3-5 mins), slightly noisy especially during the night. Finally I haven't noticed A/C in the room (although there was a portable fan). But all in all, these were just very minir objections. Everything was mainly fully satisfactory!

A very well kept hotel, in a nice area of Prague. The hotel staff fully professional, the reception staff speaking excellent English and with a good effectiveness in their work. The room was spatious, mini-refridgerator working well and not noisy. There was TV fixed on the room wall (mostly Czech channels and all movies Czech-dubbed). Good lighting. Internet connection very good. Bathroom was also spatious, very clean. Good heating. There was a vending machine in the lobby (coffee, tea, sweets, etc) and a pizza portable-oven (frozen pizza sold, self-service). Cleaning staff very efficient, nice, polite and welcoming. Fully reccommend this hotel (I have to add I had a very good discounted deal via Genius and off-season discounts)

The hotel has an in-house sauna which you can use for 20 euros/hr. Unfortunately, it was not working when I asked to use it. The rooms could do with some renovation work.

The hotel was easily accessible via the tram and metro. A 8-10 minute walk to the nearest metro station and a 6-8 min walk to the tram that connects to Old Town. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The room was quite big but was a little old, requires renovation.
