I booked this hotel for two nights as a present to my boyfriend for his birthday. The staff did an excellent job of making it feel like a special occasion. They were very warm and friendly and prepared extras in the room for his birthday. It was a very nice room and very clean. I would 100% go back again. They were so lovely and welcoming.

The isolation in the room wasn't very good. We could listen to the guests upstairs walking, and they were quite noisy.

Absolutely nothing - I will definitely be staying here again!

This hotel completely exceeded our expectations! The room was incredibly spacious, with a modern design and up-to-date facilities. Situated in the heart of the city, it was easy to walk to tourist attractions, shops, and restaurants. The staff were extremely helpful, even recommending fantastic local cuisine and restaurants that added to our experience.

The modern art which is in the hotel now, doesn’t match with the traditional style of the building

The best hotel in Prague on a fantastic location, close to bars, restaurants and all amenities. This hotel has a great staff, and we felt very welcomed! As we visited this hotel many times before, now after the renovation it’s a full 5 star hotel. The rooms are space-full and spotless clean! David Vorel from the reception gave us an upgrade to the penthouse suite, which was fantastic!

Our air conditioning didn’t go lower than 23°, we had 3 rooms and 2 of the rooms didn’t work. We asked for it to be lowered and only our son’s room got adjusted with cakes as an apology which was a nice touch but my room was still the same. Apart from that a fabulous hotel.

Great hotel. Beautiful and spacious room, clean, excellent shower. The staff is professional and attentive. Walkable everywhere, central location but quiet, which was perfect for us.

Very friendly and inviting atmosphere. All the workers were very polite and kind to us, by helping us with our luggage and by bringing a bed and a bowl for our dog. The room was very comfortable and spacious, comfy beds and good amenities.

Location is absolutely strategic to walk around, walkable distance from a lot of hot spots. The national museum is just up the street. The late bar is also very handy.

Everything was gorgeous. The staff was extremely polite, also very helpful. The breakfast was amazing. The rooms are very nicely decorated. And for tue end, location is top notch. For every recommendation 😊

A change up of the breakfast options & the coffee wasn’t too good.

You cannot beat the location for sightseeing, bars and restaurants. The property itself is very elegant, the room is modern with a comfortable large bed and rainfall shower. The breakfast is great with many options, but as other reviews mention, it is the same each day. The cocktail bar attached to the hotel is GREAT, I’d recommend the champagne punch and Carol II. I hope to return to this hotel in the future and look out for others in the Almanac chain.

The hotel concierge booked a terriblle and unsafe car service for Me from the hotel to airport when I was leaving - the car company was liftago . the hotel staff refused to pay to the car company directly even though I requested them to. The driver of this car service turned out to behave like a threatening goon and charged me more than the price fixed with the hotel. He was also blackmailing me by refusing to give me my luggage at the airport and was racist towards Arab and Indians. He had anger issues and was a fraud. The hotel didn’t do anything much to rectify their mistake. Disappointing experience at the end of the day and hence I would not recommend this hotel, the City and car company if you’re a female traveler.

I could hear the room next door walking. The bed could be softer.

Breakfast was great. I loved that you can order from the a la carte menu free of charge. My go to was their strawberry smoothie, some melon fruits, pancake, sausages, hash brown and the eggs Benedict or avocado toast! They offer sparkling wine for breakfast as well. Good counterspace in the bathroom for the girlies. Love the slippers, rainfall shower was very nice, heated bathroom floor, the design of the closet/fridge was very neat. The staff was friendly. I already recommended this hotel to some friends!

Sound isolation could be better. Kept hearing noise from the street through the night.
