Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

PolandThere was a problem with parking a car. The hotel has too few parking places for guests and we had to look in adjacent streets for a parking spot. Parking rules in Prague are complicated. The lift was very small, I think the smallest I have ever seen. Two bags and one person with a child and it was very cramped, we could barely fit in.
A nice small hotel with good price. Nice apartment for a family. Very nice receptionist, who explained how and where to find parking spot. A pizza restaurant next door.

Close to public transport, good choice for sightseeing tours. Breakfast was nice. Our dogs were allowed to stay.

HungaryThe bathroom has a hair dryer but you can't use it because there is no place to connect it and it is fixed to the wall so you can't move it.
The breakfast is nice and the rooms are comfortable. It is far from the city center but there is bus stop 2 min from the hotel or metro 5 min away,

PolandHotel has parking on the street for 8 or 10 cars only, so if you check in late there most likely would not be free parking spot left. Thus you would need to arrange for the overnight parking or wake up every 3 hours to extend your paid parking in front of the hotel (this is not hotel's fault but rather local parking regulations - but you have to deal with that anyway unless you in the lucky 8-10 group or have other parking options).
We had breakfast included and fridge in the suit, we have lived in the single suit for the family of 6, location is queit.

NorwayA small drawback is that there was a smell of sweat in the cupboard.
Very nice room, clean, good space, comfortable beds. Room cleaning daily. Very quite location, so good sleep. Big windows, could open them and get extra fresh air. Breakfast was nice. Staff were very polite and helpful. The hotel is relatively easy to get to and from the city centre by public transport. Taxi to airport cost about 30 euro. We liked to stay at the hotel, and if I will go to Prague again, I would love to stay at that hotel.

Swedish buffet. Excellent, everything to choose from. Short stay, unfortunately, but pleasant. 500m from the highway and the same to the subway. I love Prague, no tourist trip is enough to get to know it well enough.

PolandI guess the only downside for us was the lack of electric kettle to prepare some quick beverage on the go.
Great value for the price. Very high recommendation for budget stay. Staff was very friendly and communicated perfectly in English. Really nice and cozy rooms, comfy beds. Everything was clean. We really liked that the breakfast was included in the price. That's rather not usual and we didn't know what to expect, since we often look out for accomodation only, but the breakfasts were extremely good! Really good communication, too. There's about 5 minutes to the metro station from the premises. Parking is free only on weekends due to the Prague law, but there is a park & ride parking really close and cheap. If we choose to visit Prague again we'd definitely stay in Astra.

PolandThe breakfast was good, however service could care better for providing lacking products and dishes. Lack of free parking is a minus, however Skalka 2 P+R did the job (2,5 USD for 24 hour parking seems like free).
The hotel looks quite "out of date", however has very good "value for money" rate. Room was spacious, perfect for 1-2 week stay for a couple. Walking distance from metro station and P+R. When no bus parking in front of the hotel, 3 free parking spots available ツ (took advantage of 2 free days).
