Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

Beautiful quaint room with a view of the hill towards the castle. Opening windows with plenty of fresh air and light in the room. Lovely receptionist who was very helpful with clear English. Great location in walking distance to the castle and Charles bridge. Loved Prague!

United StatesThere were small black ants throughout the bathroom. We didn't alert the staff to them during our stay because I think they were just sugar ants.
We loved the layout of our room. Having the living room for our baby to sleep in with the crib was very convenient. The courtyard was also a huge bonus. Breakfast was fantastic. There is no way to improve upon perfection. The selection was brilliant. The hotel location was great. It was a bummer having to pay so much for parking. (€25/night), but we loved the walkable neighborhood and local restaurant options. There is also a park within a half mile, plus the island with the beavers is only a 20-min walk.

United KingdomVery comfortable room. A quiet location, no noise. Situated in a very attractive area. The location is very central, close to the Chatles Bridge, but away from all the crowds and noise in the Old Town area. Hotel staff, Denisa and Lucas, were very helpful.

United KingdomWhile there was no noise from the streets, We could hear the people next to us- who must have some kind of cold as our first night was full of constant coughing- so maybe the sound proofing but that’s me being super picky.
The location was amazing, close to the main areas of attraction I’d say 20mins to get the astronomical clock as a reference. The decor of the rooms in fact the whole hotel was just beautiful. The staff were friendly, helpful and super quick to reply to previous questions via email pre-stay.

GermanyOur fridge had a mouldy/pungent smell but we communicated it to the staff. There were two hotel receptionists during our 4-night stay. The lady was kind and patient but the man can come off as a little rude and impatient (may be it was due to language barrier and we were not offended at all).
We had a baroque-esque room which makes you feel like you're transported 500-years back. The room was decorated with antique furniture and old leather couch which is very nice if you are into it. The room was huge and we found the breakfast to be excellent 10/10. It was a wide spread and high-quality food. The location is ~15mins away from Charles bridge and rather quiet in the evening. Nice to be away from the hustle of the city.

SpainThey made a mistake and gave us a different room than the one I booked. It was quite cute, but not the one I expected. And they didn't have any free room of the kind I booked. So they finally gave us a better room, much bigger, in the other hotel they have just in front of this one, whose name is At the white lily. This is the right way to solve mistakes, always with the customer in mind, congratulations, and thank you for your perfect treatment.

BelgiumThe price for the parking spot reservation of 25 euro's is exagerated but you have the choice to park in public parking spots as well and the price was communicated in advance so we knew the deal.
Perfect location for visiting all the areas of Prague: Prague Castle only 10 mins on foot. Karlov most only 10 mins away, on foot. We got a warm welcome and got everything explained pitch perfect at our arrival. Special shout-out to the 2 kind ladies at the reception. The room reminds you the old times but at the same time neat, spacious and most important: a good bed to sleep in. The breakfast was absolutely spot on! A wide range of products, bread, pasteries,... Do not hesitate to book this hotel, you won´t be disappointed.
