pictures showed a bath but upon arrival we discovered it was a shower. we were offered to choose between the smaller room with a bath or the large room without.

The room doors mostly face an interior courtyard so when people are talking on their way to their rooms at night it can get noisy.

Room was very basic - faulty bathroom mirror lights. No complimentary bottled water which is pretty standard usually for this type of hotel. Also not quiet - woken up at 6am every morning by cleaners setting up in the stairwell, it’s so echoey that it’s just unbearably loud. Shame we didn’t sleep well here.

breakfast was miserable - some fruits some vegies - the yogurt was excelent so was the fresh juice - it is a serve yourself type od buffet - not much of a variety - breads and pastries cold hard without any taste - beds hard undomfortable - i had to ask for an extra layer 0n the bed - linens nice and clean - my room was a triple room so it was spacious with windows - the bathroom very very small - no pkace to swing a towel - no place for anything - towels thin - and room not very clean - floor with hair - not mine

the only 5 star was the locationn- the reception staff especially Alena -and the remodeling of an old house into a hotel - all the rest is more like a 4 sar maybe - no fittness center - no spa

The descriptions of the available rooms were misleading, and the photographs made it impossible to distinguish which room was which. There were two types of rooms on offer, but they had the same descriptions and photos. This resulted in our booking the larger room with a bath but receiving the smaller one with a shower instead.

The hotel is not a 5 star hotel, although advertised as such on booking.com. The lobby is presented smartly, and a welcome drink is offered. However there are no facilities available. The real issue is with the rooms... The dark brown blanket and cushions on the bed were dirty. The blankets are not cleaned between guests and ours had white marks on - yuck! Even though we placed them in the corner of the room, they were put on the bed everyday when the room was made up. There were also brown dirt marks on the curtains, and black mould on the ceiling in the bathroom. It does not make you feel relaxed. A more minor point is that the room we were given didn't have an interesting ceiling like the photos. It felt very basic. Overall disappointing. I do not recommend.

The hotel, although in a very touristy area, was quiet. We were able to borrow travel adapters, as we had forgotten ours, which was very useful. Some of the staff were pleasant, others just tried to sell you tours.
