Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

UkraineIt was most bad service ever! In 1 a.m. when we was bag after work, there was no light in the room. So we had to change the room. We take all our stuff and go to our room. And my husband just stuck in the elevator. It was closed and didn’t opened for at least 30 minutes. Again, it was in the night and after work. Yes. Mistakes happen, but where was no any apologies from receptionist in the night and even in the morning when I about this both situation for new person on front desk. She was, like: “so what, it is your problem”.

The hotel doesn't correspond to the 4 star level. I would give 3 by all parameters.

The breakfast was awesome, our kids and us found our favourites . The other important matter for me was about the beds, since i was looking for a room for all of us and mostly the hotels offered an extra bed that is not comfortable , this hotel gave us two connected room with 4 beds . The quality of sleep was very good, cleanness is nice either.

UkraineBed bugs. When I informed the staff about that they immediately started to check the room and block it for other visitors. But they didn't offer any compensation while I did not ask for it as I was in a hurry because of the next trip. Also bathroom as for me will not be comfortable for a visit with colleagues. I was there with my friend, so that was +- ok, but the doors are too thin
Staff was nice, they even let me leave the bags before check-in and for some time after check-out in secure room. The hotel room was mostly comfortable, WiFi was ok, there were tea and coffee etc.

HungaryFirst night we couldn't rest and sleep a lot, because there were a lot of asian teenegers in our floor and they thought this is a hostel so they were very-very loud. First evening there was buffet dinner. It was very good, but second and third evening dinner were awful. We got menu. The soup was instant and dessert was as same as that last evening's buffet dinner remained... I think this is not four stars hotel service. This is overpriced.
The room and the hotel was very clean. Breakfast was really good.

South AfricaMy room view is bad and creepy. Direct view to the cemetery below. Booked 2 single beds but got 1 king bed, double charged on city tax as booking.com already charged that but reception still ask for city tax per person per night with no receipt provided by them when paid city tax in cash. The environment is very noisy. I can hear people walking in passage and elevators, every door shut is very loud. Sound insulation is almost non. Got booking.com upgrade to execute room, but does not feel like upgrade at all. More like downgraded. Enter guest name but instead. Guest name become main booking person....making checking in and out difficult. The entire trip vibe was down.
It is clean. Water is hot, airconditioning is working as expected.

SlovakiaIncompetent reception personell. Confirming parking reservation in writing before check in, when I arrived at midnight no parking available, garage entrance super narrow with one inch space between sides and side car mirrors very dangeorous to navigate for bigger cars, room I received was unprepared and used, dirty towels on the floor and mess in the room. The other room had super soft bed so it was very bad sleep. I will never come back to this hotel.

Czech RepublicBed: Even though I explicitly asked for a queen bed, I got two separate beds. Two separate beds for one person!!! Noise: There was something very wrong about pipes and/or paper-thin walls. I had problems to fall sleep cause I heard frequent flushing. Shower and toilet: Shower looked like a wardrobe. It was tiny and it didn't even have a proper air ventilation. The same about toilet. Wifi: Wifi was extremely slow. I had to buy local simcard to use mobile data instead! Mobile internet was 10 times faster! TV: TV wasn't even connected to internet. All the channels had absurdly horrible video quality. Rude reception staff: Reception staff was unable to communicate in Czech language and wasn't even able to answer simple questions and complaints.
