Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

Czech RepublicThe windows in the room opened in an unusual manner, resembling the mechanism of casement windows, which I found somewhat inconvenient. This opening style limited the ease of ventilation and overall did not feel user-friendly.
I liked the location right next to the main train station, as well as the friendliness of the staff.

LithuaniaThis is a very run down "Soviet style" hotel. The small room is extremely hot, since there is no a/c or any kind of ventilation.
Nice breakfast. Paid parking just outside the hotel. But it was full, when I arrived.

Czech RepublicOld fashion furniture, dirt and stains both on the floor and walls. Horrible window open system as was the same in 80s in the elementary schools across former Czechoslovakia - just a piece of wood in between of frames of window. No aircondition, no ventilation and terrible warm air inside whole hotel. Stains and mould in the shower. BTW I found and killed one Blattella germanica - roach in the shower... Breakfast like as to be back in time in 80s with communists again...:-/ Never again. Disgusting coffee for breakfast despite the open buffet with no worst choices.
Totally old-school and communistic era-style hotel which was a bit scary. Hotel position close to the centre. Hotel was only available for that night. Once and never again. May be good for those who would like to travel back in time to 80s or explorers.

AustriaThe bar is closed from 3pm and at the weekend, which is unusual. The hotel is situated directly opposite the railway station, separated by a very nicely appointed square. However, this has not changed the fact that certain people hang around. But by and large there were no issues with personal safety.
Good bed, decent shower, nice view from 8th floor

Czech RepublicThe facilities are a bit old/outdated and not renovated and the stay is rather expensive and you had to pay additional parking lot fee for the hotel parking lot.

Czech RepublicNothing major to report. I had to pay for parking in the hotel's own carpark, which is maybe common these days?
We spent three nights at this property during our business trip to Hradec Kralove. The hotel is conveniently situated opposite the main train station on the western boundary of the town center. It is an older property with a I think 9 floors. From the outside it's starting to look its age but the room itself was fine and was quite suitable for our stay. The hotel had a fair number of international guests while we were there. The free breakfast was very good. There are plenty of places to eat nearby the hotel (particularly if you like pizza!) , and a slightly longer walk will get you to the historical center of the town, which is very nice. In summary, I'd recommend this property as a functional place to stay if visiting Hradec Kralove.

ColombiaThe facade of the hotel could use some renovation as well as the windows. I didn't mind the old style of the hotel, because the bed and the shower where in good conditions. The windows are tricky to open but we managed, so we didn't have a very hot room. The hotel staff seem to be friendly and willing to help you whenever is needed.
The hotel is close to the train station and the price was good for two people. The breakfast was also very good with different and tasty options.
