Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Cerny Slon. The location is perfect, with easy access to everything I needed. The service was outstanding, and the staff were always friendly and welcoming with a smile. I truly appreciated their hospitality, and they made my experience very enjoyable. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and pleasant stay!

My only complaint would be the Shower head. Very hard to adjust properly and secure. Sprayed water all over the bathroom, soaking floor & towels.

Hotel Cerny Slon exceeded our expectations. Our room with high ceilings and attic window where we could sit and have a coffee was great. The room was huge. The bathroom generous in size. The staff were attentive, polite and helpful. The breakfast was good. The dinners we had there were excellent. The location in the old city was welcomed. Less than a minute to the town square and walking distance the Charles Bridge. Highly recommend the hotel

Lighting in the room was very dismal with very little natural light. Would stay again but want a different room.
Lovely old hotel close to the main square. I had seen earlier reviews about noise but this wasn't a problem during our stay. Probably the nicest hotel staff I've ever come across

Blackout curtains. Would be helpful and a full length mirror.
Central , great location, simple ,clean rooms, wonderful friendly, helpful staff. I do not have breakfast in the morning but I took a look and it looked really good with lots of variety. What a beautiful town. Uber from airport was great but I took the metro and bus connection on my way back, super easy and fast( I was afraid of traffic between 4-5 pm.

Everything was great.
This hotel is ideally situated right near the old town square and lots of restaurants. We had a large room at the very top of the hotel. The beds were comfy, and the shower had great water pressure. The hotel is quaint and has lots of history, don't expect a modern hotel woth mod cons. The whole point of this place is its a historic area. There is a good breakfast selection and a well stocked mini bar!

The hotel is authentic, located on a small street right off the Old Town Square. Clean and in excellent repair it keeps it's old town feel. Staff is superb. They are friendly, helpful and hard working. The hotel has a restaurant with delicious Czech food.

Cannot think of anything that we didn't like!
Everything was wonderful! Location cannot be beat. We easily walked everywhere. Room was very clean and beds so comfortable! Staff was amazingly helpful and friendly. We ate dinner there one night and it was delicious! If we ever come back to Prague, will definitely stay there again!

The rooms do not have air conditioning, they are very hot in the summer.
The staff are very attentive and respectful, the location is amazing, you can do everything walking.

Location was perfect. Third floor rooms were so amazing. The staff was so friendly and helpful. Great breakfast, and great staff serving breakfast. We asked about gf bread and the lady working ran out and bought some and brought it to us!

It was slightly noisy but that was only due to the great location nas there were many restaurants and bars in the area.
Perfect location to explore beautiful Prague, close to everything, breakfast was great. A beautiful old building.

It was HOT and LOUD. We had to request fans and even with the fans on, the rooms were very very hot. They need to upgrade with AC as the summers are getting hotter. Because it was so hot, we wanted to open our windows for breeze, but it was so loud from the nearby bars, it was difficult to sleep. We did end up sleeping with ear plugs and the windows open, but were up fairly frequently. It quieted down around 3am and then became loud again around 7am.
The hotel is centrally located. One review stated it was "steps away" from the main plaza, and that is absolutely true. You really are so close to everything. The room was massive! We had a large room with twin beds, a writing desk, a large wardrobe and a huge bathroom. We were very surprised at how large the rooms were for being so central in the city. The staff were fantastic. They were so friendly and helpful. Every one of the staff greeted us coming and going, asked how our stay was going and gave good advice.
