WOW! I stumbled upon Chateau Liblice totally by chance on Booking while searching for accommodations near Melnik! What a fabulous surprise it turned out to be! 🎉 It's an absolutely stunning historic place, impeccably maintained, with amazing staff, service, and food! 🍽️ I chose the bridal suite, and it was one of the most beautiful places we’ve stayed in yet! The breakfast was delicious, too! 🥐✨

The dinner was definitely subpar, especially given the high prices. Although our room was very nice, the television didn't work (even after the staff came and tried to fix the problem) and two lamps didn't work because the light bulbs were broken.

The location is beautiful, an authentic baroque castle with large gardens surrounding it. Our room, a superior double, was roomy, comfortable and clean. The staff was friendly and responsive. Breakfast was good.

The property is very well maintained as well as the surrounding areas. The room that we got to stay in, was spacious, comfortable and clean. In addition our dog was happy with her bed and water bowl that she received.

It’s absolutely amazing and magic place. Old baroque castle preserved, renovated and adapted well to the 21st century needs. All staff was very professional and nice. Everything was very clean. The restaurant is great offering great tasty meals including locally produced good wines.

The room was a bit warm (we visited in hot summer) but what can you do - it is an old building. You can hardly put an air conditioning there. We could survive, no big problem. But I was a bit disappointed by the cuisine during the dinner. The starters were very nice, but as a main we ordered vegetarian pasta and fish with mashed potatoes and that tasted kind of like from school canteen. The biggest disappointment was chocolate fondant which was not melted inside (although the taste of it was very good). I would expect a bit finer cuisine at this place, but maybe we are just too high demanding :-). The waiter was very kind and professional. Overall it was a very nice stay and I absolutely recommend it.

Absolutely stunning location, superb views, beautiful view on the nicely reconstructed chateau from the garden, beautiful spacy room and comfy bed. Very friendly and helpfull staff. Very quiet location. It was my dream to sleap in the chateau once and this dream came true :-). It is a very romantic place for perfect stay with your significant other or with family. We came on bikes and they have a storage for them. There is also a big car parking and a little children playground in front of the chateau. It must be nice also for a conference or wedding. We appreciated a personal letter we found in the room.

The room we stayed in was dark and the furniture is dark too, which doesn't help. We needed to have the light on even during the day. The waiter that served us at dinner looked very unhappy to be there.

The chateau and the gardens are very beautiful and one can spend a lot of time walking around and enjoying the views. There is a nice café also and a small wellness centre too, nice restaurant with a good selection of food and a lovely receptionist. The breakfast was good too. The beds were comfortable and we really appreciated the choice of two pillows, not just the huge typical Czech pillow that we find uncomfortable.

A beautiful chateau close to Prague with a very romantic park surrounding it. The chateau was very tastefully and authentically renovated and offers guests a very comfortable and relaxing experience all throughout the stay. The restaurant in the castle is very good as well. What especially jumped out there was the very rich wine list of both local and international wines, as well as a very good selection of destillates. Can highly recommend this place.

1) I have booked a "triple room Business" on booking.com. The pictures and the reality were far away from each other. One of the reasons we have chosen this Zámek was that we wanted to be within one room 3 of us. There was not even any information on the Booking.com, that the room is only an illustration and can be a difference... 2) The room was very smelly and not clean. Numerous spiders and spider webs were there especially in the bathroom which cannot be built within hours after cleaning them. And the whole room had a very uncomfortable smell. After 2 days we realized there are used diapers in our bathroom's garbage bin. They were not nice to be honest. We guess the previous guests had a baby there... 3) We wanted to book a spa for Tuesday when we arrived. The receptionist told us the Spa is closed on Tuesday (?). No information about this fact in advance. The Spa was fully booked for Monday. So we couldn't go to the spa nevertheless this was one of the reasons we went into your hotel. 4) We booked 30 min aromatic massages for 3 people. The whole message from the beginning till the end (clothes up and down) took no more then 20-25 min. And the masseur told us he gave us 5 min to relax at the end of the massage... we didn't want to pay for taking to relax, we wanted to have a 30 min long massage. Unfortunately he didn't speak English at all, so we were unable to communicate.

The stay was very dissatisfying. They had a wedding celebration which meant all other guests were NOT allowed to enter the main restaurant, lobby bar nor terrace. The staff missed to inform us about it otherwise we would have cancelled our stay as there isn’t much more to the chateau then the mentioned facilities that we were not allowed to enter due to the wedding. The staff also missed to inform us about the fact that you have to book a massage 24hours prior to your stay, which was disappointing when we arrived. The room in the building next to the main chateau was at a 3 star hotel interior level with no air conditioning - they literally gave us a 10€ plastic fan to circulate air in the room which for over 100€ per night really isn’t acceptable. The worst was the reaction of front desk staff when confronted with the situation - they were not apologetic about it at all and only when asking for the Director and a discount they allowed us a fairly small reduction of the price. Overall really disappointing experience and I wouldn’t recommend going there.
