Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

It was closed when we arrived. We didn’t get told this would be the case. Had to call and wait for someone to open the hotel and book us in

The shower was over the bath and there was no curtain, and no place to hang the shower spray so you had to sit in the bath and hold it.
The hotel was a short walk from lovely restauarants in the town centre. The buffet breakfast at the hotel was great and there was parking for our bikes. There was a lovely little shared balcony area where you could sit off of the flight of stairs.

The bathroom had no shower curtains at the bathtub with the flexible hose shower head. Made a mess when showering.... The waling noise from the room above mine was annoying.
The location, directly at the city center makes this hotel convenient. It is an old-style hotel, with very high ceilings and nice decor. The staff was very friendly and super helpful. The big double bed was comfortable, and all was clean and fresh! Parking in around the corner at the street (free of charge), if you are happy to score a spot.

The bathroom was not that clean ( dark marks at the rims) and the exhaust was smelly. Likely because hotel is very old.
The check in staff was exceptional, very helpful and very accommodating ! Lobby with massive chandelier is beautiful. Terrace upstairs was lovely for family drinks and bonding.

Temperature control limited (possibly due to current energy crisis). No elevator (like many European small hotels). No English language TV option (not necessary, but nice to catch up on news).
Good buffet breakfast and location a few blocks from main square. Safe and clean facilities. Staff were exceptionally helpful and went above to assist with a medical issue. Typical European size rooms (comfortable, not large or small). Good value.

The curtains didn't do their job, it was not possible to darken the room which affected my sleep negatively. Also the pillow was not that great. The breakfast was okay.
We liked the central location. Good for a one night stay. The balcony is really nice to sit

I was quite disappointed from the hotel. During my stay ( 3 nights) my room was not cleaned even once. The towels were not changed during the whole stay. The hotel does not have its own parking lot. It is necessary to look for the parking spot on a public parking near by.
Really good location. Just few minutes away from the central square.

The hotel was closed, so we need to call the host to open for us. The hotel has not got a parking space and it was very difficult to find a free parking space on the street. The room was nice however, very basic. There was no table, no kettle, no cups, no hairdryer in the room. A one small sachet of body wash and shampoo for the whole stay. The breakfast was extremely basic, however everything was fresh. It was a problem with the internet too.

No one was present for my check-in, I didn't get breakfast on the first day even though I ordered it, but that's fine, mistakes can happen. On the check out day though the lady was surprised and upset when I said I was going to check out at 10:50 which is during the check out hours - this surprised me.
Location was good, cleanliness and price as well.
