Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

SwedenIt's difficult to find due to its location above a club. One of our beds was very comfortable, the other not.
We had not realised we had booked an apartment, so we were fully expecting a dorm. The room we got was great and had lots of extra facilities - tea, coffee etc. Great value for money and great location in the city.

GermanyIt is surrounded by some sketchy businesses and it is extremely noisy at night
You are right in the middle of Prague. Most of the locations are reachable by foot and there are two convenient trams stations nearby. The rooms are good, everything is clean and the staff is friendly. The kitchen has good provisions and is a fun place to interact with people.

RomaniaAlthough it is a good hostel, in a very good location the building is a classical one with thin walls, so you could hear a lot of noise even with close windows and doors (do not mention that the sauna club is below, so at 5AM some cheerful screaming's could tickle your ears or nerves (but yeah, this is a hostel life), but you could hear noises also from the kitchen...so it is up to everyone's good manners I think, but I would put a sign with silent hours or some interactive feedback panel if there is too much noise (I think there was somewhere a sign, but was not that obvious...but again good manners and how attentive you can be with your hostel mates matters on the people). Also, the mattress and bedsheets were very ok and comfy but the bunk bad was poor I guess, you could feel every tiny movement what your colleague made and she/he the same way...and it was unpleasant to climb on it...so I would definitely change that. (I think this could be an improvement for the future as the rest it is how it is).
The hostel is located in a good area, close to Old Town Square, Narodni Museum, also to the metro station, and main shopping areas, and most importantly to the visiting spots (Old Town Square, Powder Tower, the stunning art nouveau Concert Hall, Mucha Museum, Czech Museum of Cubism, Chares Bridge -15 min by walk and soooo many more). Below the Hostel there is a Sauna Club and in the 3rd level was the hostel where I stayed separated from other parts of the hostel. In a separated area there were 4 rooms with one shared kitchen having 2 fridge, cooking place, so you could easily prepare some food if you wanted too having all the necessary facilities even coffee and tea...nothing fancy, but the essentials where there. You can choose to stay in a mixed dormitory or separated female dormitory with 6 persons. The rooms were tidy and bright, the mattress were comfortable (some were changed with new ones when I arrived) but in the bunk bed you could feel every movement what you or your bunk bad mate made. The bedsheets, were clean and comfy (good material) , little storage in your bed for your phone and little things, a lamp also. You receive 2 towels as well (1 smaller one), the toilet also the room is pretty clean, and you have the locker and hairdryer in every room, so the necessary things were there, even shower gel, soap, toilet paper were constantly added. Although there is no reception all day long in my late arrival (2AM) someone was there and helped me with instructions. The check out is pretty easy as well, all you need to do is leave the keys in a box, so logistically it was comfy to manage your stay inn.

Czech Republic- Showers could use a little improvement but nothing you cant survive. Not good ventilation and the drainage was a bit slow. -very specific check in time
The receptionist was kind enough to call me after my check in that a big group of guys is comming into my room and as he thought I might not be comfortable with that, he called me and switched me to another room. Overall my experience was pleasant, the beds were surprisingly rly comfortable and the lockers had locks on them too. Rooms were spacious.
