Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.

By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomBathroom floor got flooded, prefer if there are doors rather than curtains to shower cubicles.
Best hostel I have stayed in, the dormitory was so spacious, not bunk beds but comfortable single beds, ideal location close to astronomical clock, friendly helpful staff who spoke excellent English.

AustraliaThe beds shake every time the person moves or rolls over. The pillows were not great and the wifi doesn’t work in the rooms.
Great location, the facilities were good, nicely decorated and set up. A nice common area and kitchen. A nice hostel for solo females.

MalaysiaThe shower stall had slow draining. However, the ladies look into it right away post inform them- which is really appreciated. Also, take in account that they have 2 different versions- one with the lift and one without it. So better check with the hostel before booking and you’re looking for the one with the lift
The location can’t be any better - centrally located where it’s just a 5 mins walk to the Old town astronomical clock tower. The staff there was amazing- shoutout to all the ladies there that made my stay a wonderful and comfortable one. We happen to have pancake brekky during my stay there, and it was so good and delicious. I didn’t expect this as part of the breakfast deals to be frank- so worth for the money. The one I love the most about is how they think through about what a women needs and provided it. It’s truly a women’s hostel and will definitely stay here next time

NetherlandsI think the vibe in the hostel was a little cold because other travellers were not really open to socialising. Which is fair. If people like to stay more anonymous and private, that should be accepted. However, some more social activities would have been nice for those ones who'd like to connect with others.
Everything was extremely clean, and the beds were very comfortable. I felt safe and the staff was very friendly as well.

UkraineJust a wonderful place in the very heart of Prague! I stayed in a 6-bed room. It is worth its money - clean, calm, neat, comfortable and safe. Nice ladies at the reception. Fully equipped kitchen with free tea, coffee, flakes and pasta. Comfortable baths and WCs. One note: take a towel with you. They provide only a small one free, next ones at small fee.

Saudi ArabiaIt was a bit problematic to have a great sleep since it's a hostel, and we stayed 6 girls in the room. Since the checkout is 10am, most of the girls woke up around 8.30-9am to get ready, and for example, for me it's very early to wake up, especially during the traveling, sometimes I come back late, and need some longer. I ended up not sleeping very well for three nights, and I believe, if the checkout could be at least at 11am, it would be much better!
I liked the hostel too much. Very cozy, friendly, and safe. The location is perfect, the price, and the facilities are even better. I truly recommend it! It was the best hostel I have ever stayed.

GermanyThe shower rooms can be the only thing which needs improvement as the shower rooms has curtains on it and due to humidity and other factors curtains and rugs are the reason to create smell in toilets. The wc are really clean and do not have any smell. I think they should replace the curtains with glass cabinets than everything would be fine
I like everything in this hostel, they try their best to facilitate guest. My visit was very smooth. They coordinate very well. The best part is location just two minutes away from centre astronomical clock is just five minutes away. Charles bridge is just 15 minutes away. Prague castle i guess 25 or 30 minutes.! The u bahn is also very near. So the sum up is go girls stay in this hostel . You will feel safe and happy. Girls working on Reception are super friendly and cool.

CanadaConsidering your paying more for this hostel the only thing would be to include a towel in the price and not charge you for it. Most hostels, even the really cheap ones, now provide these.
Centrally located. Everything you could need is there.

United StatesI guess you are only allowed to take one towel for your whole stay which is a bit tough if you don't have much time to wait for laundry and don't want to spend the 8 Euros multiple times just to wash the towel. They said it's for economic reasons but it's kind of hard since there aren't a lot of spaces to hang them, the towel is pretty small and if you're on your period it can get kind of gross fast.
The location is amazing, the staff are extremely kind and helpful. The price is great for the spot. You have access to laundry and they explain how to use it, the bunk beds had privacy with the curtains. I joined one of the events and that was really nice especially since you don't have to pay extra for it. I also felt pretty safe in the area and in the hostel. The facilities are also cleaned regularly.

GermanyI liked everything! Cleanliness, facilities, services, location and treatment unmatched. My experience was amazing! My stay in Women's Hostel was very different from the ones I had in other cities in mixed hostels. It is definitely not comparable, somehow you feel protected and at home. I shared a bunk room with 18 people in total, in a large room separated into two areas and all the girls were super respectful. I loved it all, so much that I couldn't recommend it enough.

CanadaThe door to the room would slam even if you tried to close it quietly. I did mention this to the staff and they seemed receptive so hopefully the doors will be changed! Being it’s a hostel your stay really comes down to who is in your room with you. I unfortunately had someone in the room each night that was either loud when coming in, sorting through their bags at midnight or snoring so loudly I could hear it through my noise cancelling headphones. This isn’t the hostels fault, just the luck of the draw really. I did meet some really lovely women here though!
The location is perfect, right next to the old square and walking distance from so many different places. The hostel is clean, and the staff are very friendly. They had two pancake breakfasts where they cooked pancakes for us for free (I’m from Canada so these are crepes to me, but still very delicious haha!)
