Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

TurkeyI had a great experience staying at this hostel! The cleanliness was top-notch, with rooms and shared spaces kept spotless. I felt very secure throughout my stay thanks to their excellent safety measures. The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and always available to assist with anything I needed. I am really thankfull to Enise, Yasmin, Tara, Emilia, Fra, Bea, Sonia, Ro for bng kindness and being great friends. The location was perfect, close to major attractions and public transport, making it super convenient. I also loved the warm and welcoming atmosphere that made it easy to meet and connect with fellow travelers. Highly recommend!

GermanyThe equipment is older and partly makeshift. In places where you don't look directly, it is often dirty.
For Prague, the price-performance ratio was unbeatable.

IndiaBathroom couldve had more racks, hooks etc to place your clothes while having ashower and for changing into your clothes after the shower- there was asbolutely nothing
clean, cosy, homely. Some activity or "family" dinner organised every day, as were pub crawls. Its a quiet place, certainly not a party atmosphere at all.

Belgium- Again the 'hostel' vibe you can see in the movies :) - No place to put your stuff next to the bed - The beds and mattresses are at the end of their life. The rooms are definitely not clean enough, beds with lots of dust and rust. Some hair on the bed sheets. Not that I've seen an actual bug but I found some stains and bug shell.. The duvet + bed sheet were on the floor when the lady was making them.. - For this price and rating, I would expect much better conditions. Social hostel shouldn't mean shabby hostel
- Amazing staff & volunteers. They are caring, very social and friendly - Guest are also there to socialise and spend good time, mostly educated, fun, well behaving people - At least 4 events EVERY DAY. Walking tour/going to park, sightseeing + free dinner (basic small one but it's tasty :) ) + drinking games after the dinner + pub + club/party. I have never seen so many events in any hostel before. They are taking you to quite famous places, maybe with some discounts or perks. - Toilets and showers cleaned regularly - Curtains on the beds - Very easygoing environment. You will feel the 'hostel' vibe that you can imagine from movies etc.

FranceThe staff working at the hostel are really nice and helpful. Special thanks to Jorge. Each day they have activities throughout the afternoon and evening, so it helps to meet new people. It's close to the city centre. So you can walk easily everywhere in the city. The bedrooms are nice and spacious. Overall I do recommend and if I go back to Prague I definitely know where I'm staying.

United KingdomIt was very hard to find!
The volunteers were very nice and were certainly enthusiastic. They had activities every night (i.e. family dinner, drinking games etc). I can imagine in the summer it would be an amazingly social hostel!

India1. No elevator - need to carry the suitcase up 2 floors 2. No proper bar - the beers were over in 2 out of 3 days that I stayed 3. It is an expensive hostel by general standards, so I expected paid breakfast arrangements but they don’t have that. 4. I was lucky to get a lower bunk, but the guy on the top bunk that the room lights hit straight on his eyes..
1. Great location, very close to the central station and Rudolfinum, which is the starting point for most walking tours. 2. Friendly staff - Kieran and the other tall guy (sorry forgot his name) are very helpful. 3. Free coffee all day 😅 4. Activities that they arrange for the visitors - they create a good vibe. 5. I somehow prefer the bathrooms to be separate from the bedrooms.

SpainThe bathrooms were a little gross and small. The beds could use a curtain or something an extra pillow or na icer mattress they definitely need to invest in the rooms a little, The room I was placed in was for 8 people which was fine but the heater wasn't working and we were all freezing. My friend was in the room of 10 and their room was warm.
The staff and volunteers were amazing. They and the location of the hostel are what made it worth it. The activities were fun but they repeat after 3 days.
