Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The whole city center directly in front of the hotel door. Perfect spot when you just have one evening and want to explore a bit the cit and find a restaurant.

The hotel is practically located within the walls of old-city and they have their own parking so no issue when you arrive by car. The personnel are very friendly (they also encourage you to see local attractions - or which in our case - a concert that was happening on the market square). Breakfast which is served in the morning - fresh and good add value to the whole stay. Just in front of the hotel, across the street - Drapal (worth a try and a bit further Moritz - with local beer from their own microbrewery).

I would rate the hotel with 3 stars rather than 4, a bit retro, cheap materials, mattress bumpy. Breakfast just OK, almost flat apple pie, coffee horrible.
Hotel room is comfortable, here the furniture design is nice. There is a mini fridge with drinks and little snacks. Good central location.

The bathroom was clean but old style. The shower was inside of the bathtub and no bidet available

The breakfast was a bit on the low side. Not a very good selection and the area felt a bit off. The entrance to the hotel felt rubdown should be good with a good fix uo

One of the blinds in my room didn’t close which meant the light came in and woke me up early-not a big deal, I told reception when I checked out and they said they’d fix it
The staff were friendly and so helpful. I was arriving by bus and they sent clear directions for which tram to catch to find the hotel, made it super easy Hotel is in a great location-across the road from the tram stops and right at the edge of the old town Breakfast was good-hot and cold options

The only down side was there was a lot of street noise all night, at least in my room.

I requested a queen-size bed instead of a twin. My room had two single beds put together, but the big furniture made a huge gap between the beds, and the mattresses did not cover that hole, so I basically slept in a single bed. The bed was old and uncomfortable.
I had a conference at the university, so the location was great, and it was super close to the Christmas markets and the astronomical tower. Easy to access from the central train station.

There were no negatives regarding my stay.
The location is great. Five minutes to Old Town. A large shopping mall is about 15 minutes away. From the train station, tram #7 will take you to the door. Wifi worked well, the breakfast was ok, the rooms were extremely quiet, I had a room overlooking the main street and heard no noise at all.
