Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

Czech RepublicWalls made probably from paper, you can literally hear everything that comes from the other rooms (every single word)
Our room, cozy inner courtyard, quiet place, although located next to the road.

PolandThe room was really nice, but a bit dark. The beds were squeaking. You can pay only in cash there. Also, the walls are really thin, so we could hear a couple making love in the adjacent room.
The location was exactly what we were looking for. The price was great, too. The house and its vicinity looked amazing.

FinlandMy choice on countryside and based on that nothing negative to say.
We liked this place, a feeling of old times, still well kept. A kitchen was nice, all very nice there in a beautiful countryside. Could meet some nice people as the kitchen is in common use.

United StatesThe walls are extremely thin. We could everything that was said by the couple next door. Even could hear their phone ding when they got a text message. They only supplied one towel each so no extra hand towel. Also, there are huge dogs that bark at you everytime you pass to go to your apartment. 😆
Breakfast was good for 6 Euro. The rooms are in an old barn or stable. There is a shared kitchen so its nice if you want to make something for yourself or have a cup of coffee.

EstoniaSome things in the common kitchen did not work, light was a little bit weak in the room and bathroom but that is nothing compared to how beautiful and cozy it was.
Very cozy and beautiful old style farmhouse with beautiful garden. Many attractions for children

Czech RepublicAs is quite usual in market economies, you get what you pay for. As the accommodation is relatively cheap, you should not expect a too high standard. As other reviewers have noted, the walls (and ceilings) are thin, you hear everything from adjacent rooms, each movement in the corridor, other guests rummaging in the kitchen, kids running around in the room upstairs… not much ongoing investment into the property, so the toilet bowl is wobbly, most plates on the cooker are out of order, the oven in the kitchennette is kaput… surprisingly, the hygiene standards are relatively high overall, just the pool is not maintained too well and some of the kitchen cupboards are sticky and dirty. The bin should also be cleaned sometimes. On the other hand, the fridge in the communal kitchen worked well and looked clean. So, if you do not insist on too high a standard, Hrazdeny statek Mytinka may be the right choice. It has a ping-pong table, some toys for small kids, the area around is good for hiking and cycling. You can cook for yourself or drive/ cycle to nearby Frantiskovy Lazne, a town with a reasonable selection of cafes and pubs. The area is generally not very affluent, so you will find prices in supermarkets to be lower than in other parts of the country. On the other hand, there are some higher quality establishments in the area (pub in Krapice, ice cream stand opposite the Lidl in Frantiskovy Lazne…) that actually charge Prague prices - but offer outstanding service and goods for the price.
A quiet area, even if within the property, you hear every noise. Leisurely feel of the whole property. Owners have some weird rules, but can be persuaded to act quite reasonably if you put in the effort into convincing them.

GermanyIn the shower, it took very long for the water to change temperature so I almost completely burned myself.
The property was extremely beautiful and the rooms were too. Absolutely loved the beds. The people there were really nice and the kitchen has all appliances you’d need. You’re in Cheb within 10 minutes and on the dragon bazar within 15 minutes with the car
