Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomNo tea or coffee making facility in room is annoying. TV is local channels only.
10 minute walk to Wenceslas Square. Check out by 12 was great. Rooms are simple but comfortable and very clean.

United KingdomWe like to be able to make a cup of coffee when we wake up on a morning. As we knew the facilities weren’t available in the rooms we had a travel kettle with us.
We had everything we needed in the room. The hotel was situated in a quieter location on the edge of the city within walking distance from most places of interest. Their was plenty of choice on the breakfast buffet to suit most tastes. You could eat as much as you wanted.

United KingdomWas a good walk from the old town. Surprisingly expensive for the size of the room and the location, but that seemed to be the case for all of Prague when we booked.
Clean well furnished. Good standard hotel room.

United KingdomThe hotel is a bit run down, but not to the extent that it bothered me. The television was very small, with a limited range of channels. It did the job though. I would stay again.
This was good value for money in my opinion. It is not easy to figure out how to use the public transport, but once you get the hang of it, then you can easily get to anywhere in Prague from this location. You can even walk if you are fit enough.

United KingdomWe were misled to think the hotel was actually on the main wencesles square, it is actually a 10 minute walk away. Still very easy to get to but just to make be aware
We booked in advance so it was very reasonable. The staff were very helpful and friendly. We needed rooms next to each other and they were able to accommodate us. It is walkable from the main train station.

Chile- Windows barely open so no much ventilation - No bar, "the Bar" meaned walking outside to hotel next door - One keycard stopped working so we had to go to reception to get a new one. Staff helped us flawlessly. - One of the rooms when we arrived had a strong previous occupant smell, but they changed us the room to another one, with less smell.
- Good beds - Good place to have breakfast, lot of light, tables and stuff to eat on room - Next to metro station - walkable distances to places

RomaniaI didn't like the ambiguous information about the parking. It is advertised as: "Parking: Private parking is possible on site (reservation is not possible)..." I was not sure what to believe. Is there any possibility to park there or not? Anyways, I wrote 3 messages regarding the parking place. The answer from the property came very late, while I was traveling, and because I travel by motorcycle, I was not aware. When I arrived at the property, they rented me a parking place without any problems. They had several empty places. In my opinion there are two more convenient options for informing the customers: 1) "Private parking is possible on site (reservation is not necessary)" - this was my case, or 2) "Private parking is possible on site (please check for availability)" if there are situations when the parking is really full. But checking for availability comes with the following problem: the phone doesn't work. Another thing that I did not like is that the hotel phone number is not working. I tried several times and I was disconnected every time. Very weird thing and I suspect this is intentional.
I chose this location because of the private parking and because it was at 10 min. away from Wenceslas Square (by foot).
