Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.

By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

Czech RepublicI don’t know.
Everything. The welcoming atmosphere was something I was very grateful for. I loved the hostels location and also the hostel itself. I really recommend it. I think it’s space for creative people which is nice ‘cause you can also see it when you see the other people that are staying here. Had fun with a lot of staff here so much love!

North MacedoniaI do not know how this hostel got a rating over seven in the first place. My room was on the third floor and on this floor there are two rooms with eight beds in each room so that means in total 16 people. On the 3rd floor, you have only one bathroom and one shower that does not work (it's either really hot or it's either really cold) so no taking proper showers. If the bathroom is occupied and you need to pee - good luck. You have to take the stairs up and down all the way to the basement. The breakfast offered is poor and the area is only maintained by one girl downstairs. The elevator is working from 8am until 8pm, which is totally stupid. This hostel provides automated check-in, you receive your code, but many many times the code does not work properly for people so that needs to be checked or corrected. Many ppl confuse the assigned beds. Location is not perfect.

United KingdomWe stayed in a 6 bed female room, but the toilet was without hot water (in the beginning of the winter). Unfortunately we couldn't use our toilet for shower 😟 It was a bit annoying having to go down all the floors to take a shower every day, making our stay a bit uncomfortable. Another disappointing thing, and also a bit of surprise to me was the fact that wasn't lockers in the room! 6 female bed, and only 2 lockers! 😲 I have being in a lot of hostels around the world, I never saw a room without lockers. It is the most important thing in a hostel’s room. I didn't know the another people 🤷🏼♀️ I had my cameras, passports and documents with me and no locker that I could lock with my padlock. This situation made me uncomfortable, considering that I would spend the whole day sightseeing and with no guarantee of returning to the room and finding my things. Definitely travellers always expect an individual locker in a hostel room.
Clean, central heating, good bed.

United KingdomFirst of all, we and other guests had a trouble with online check in. We couldn’t complete it and did not receive an instruction how to get into a property and room. There is also no sign on outside door that hostel is there, if you do not know you won’t find it. We had to call reception to open a door for us and give us codes for the room. She did not want to check us in, pushing us to do it online and was adamant the codes will come on email. They never did so I had to push her to just give it to me hence I’m paid and am on a system. The room windows facing a station, even though I asked not to put me there. It will be quite loud in the night, if you are light sleeper being air plugs. Also very stuffy, no aircon. And again once you open windows, there is a huge road, train station and building works outside. The room locker was a joke, back panel not attached so I could put my hand in there and take anything inside and small, the width of my palm. Included breakfast was milk and cereals, bread and tea. Anything extra needed to be paid on top, so we brought our own food and were doing breakfast ourselves. Generally did not see a point in that included breakfast as there is not much to eat. Beds have no private curtains, all open plan. Bathroom has plastic foldable door that is quite loud as well. People were checking in and out any time of day and night, not like on a stated times.
Convenient location, the property was clean.

PolandWe do not recommend this hostel. First of all, we booked it because the description says that the SAUNA is available during the stay. Unfortunately, the description does not say that the sauna is an additional fee of 20 euros plus 10 euros for each hour! We reported this to the evening shift but their response was rude! They treated us badly as if it was our fault that we did not know about it! We have slept in better places for a similar price where the sauna was offered for free! If we had known, we would never have booked this hostel because there are cheaper and better options closer to the center! What's more, on our floor there were two rooms for a total of 16 people and only one shower! The queue for the shower was long! Plus you have to pay 2 euros for a towel. Breakfast very basic with no choice. We do not recommend this hostel.

GeorgiaI think there is a need for a little variety of breakfast, it was very very basic. The restroom's door was a very thin board, it was impossible to keep privacy. Linens need updating.
Room was clean, the staff was attentive, location is far from the center, but well connected by transport. The price is very acceptable.

Canada- in-room washrooms. Only only toilet / shower for 4 people, with no other options except to run down 5 flights to use the one on the basement if it's an emergency. - no privacy curtains - no individual charging stations -old bunk beds--ladder small, as though for children. - could use a chair or two in there so the people on the top bunks have somewhere to sit to put on their shoes! There is def room in there. - not sure if there was a mirror on the wall....could def use one esp if bathroom in use. - elevators only in operation 8am-8pm!!!! - breakfast options very limited - coffee was cold; was told it's due to the coffee machine not working properly (soooo....but a new one?).
- location: 1 block from metro line, 15 minute walk from Na Knizeci bus terminal. - rooms were spacious - staff quick to respond to emails -price

IndiaLift does not operate always. its works only from 8.00am to 8.00pm which is inconvenient for those arriving late or carrying suitcases. Also, the hostel is relatively new. they need to focus on the cleanliness of rooms and washrooms. I stayed for 3 days there and cleaning was done only once. I had to point it out to the owner that there is lot of garbage (papers, wrappers etc) below the beds and around the room. overall while location is not bad and staff is very friendly and helpful, I suggest that you might find good hostels in city center (Prague 1 and 2) too at around same price.
The hostel had breakfast included in the price. Its in Prague 5 and all public transport options are just a step away from the hostel. You can listen the noise of public transport in your room at midnight too
