Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

BrazilThe room wasn't so clean when we arrived and during our stay they only made the bed but no cleaning as well.
Staff was very kind and the room is very good, hot water, big bathroom, fair price, comfortable beds. The location is excellent.

IrelandSince it's warm in Prague during our 3-days stay, we need to open the windows as there is no A/C in the rooms I which we are aware of by the way but electric fans are provided), so it's a little bit noisy in the morning when other Guests are having breakfast downstairs ( as our rooms is in the 1st floor. Their voices echoes up so it wakes us up early in the morning (before 8am). Also, the bedsheets and duvets are slightly smaller than the single beds, so it does not cover our body fully when sleeping and the bedsheets kept on being removed from the bed completely and does not tuck-in properly on the bed. Lastly, after our 1st night stay, I asked for fresh towels by leaving them on the floor ( which I believe is the code for towels to be changed to fresh ones), but to my surprise when I came back, the towels which are still damp were put back on the towel racks. Hence, towel replacements can be improved if this has been requested by the Guests.
Location - short walking distance to almost all main attractions/sites. Rooms we stayed in are spacious. The Receptionist Martin has been a wonderful assistance and provided us with everything we need to know and require during our stay. Well done to Martin!!!

LithuaniaWe got a wrong room, not the room we reservated. The bathroom had an AWFUL smell and it didn't have a trash can. There wasn't any promised shampoo. The pillows were uncomfortable.
The location was good, all city's tourist attractions were near. Lots of minimarkets, restaurants and cafes around. The wifi was very good.

SpainEverything was ok. There were various electric plugs in the room but having one next to the bed too would have been useful.
The best location in Prague for visiting all the sights! Everything within walking distance and the Metro to the Airport is only a 6 minute walk away. Very friendly and helpful staff. Reception staff was local Czech and spoke various languages (incl very good English). The room was basic but was quiet and had all I needed and the bed was comfortable and the shower worked very well (Grohe). The breakfast and the coffee were good and a very friendly lady was looking after our needs. I will stay there again next time.

NorwayThe rooms were poorly soundproofed, and we could hear everything happening next door, leaving us with no privacy. This made it difficult to relax and enjoy our vacation. Additionally, when I requested an extra pillow for my partner’s back and asked for slippers because it was winter, the staff refused both requests, claiming the hotel was ‘full.’ For the price we paid, this level of service was very disappointing. Another big issue was that there was no elevator. I’ve recently had knee surgery, so going up and down all those stairs every day was really painful.
Honestly, the location was great. We were really close to Charles Bridge, so we could pop over early in the morning or late at night when it was quiet. It wasn’t super fancy, but we did enjoy the old-style furniture in our room and the view. We were in the old town, and so looking out at another old building late at night felt like stepping back in time.

GreeceI had to self check in since I arrived around 11pm and reception is closed at that time - even though it went smoothly, I believe hotels in such touristic areas should have 24/7 reception. They also send the self check in instructions the day of check in but this could be tricky if you’re on a multiple country trip and are already in a foreign country where you potentially don’t have much internet access that day. Everything in the room was old and outdated. The single bed was the worst bed I’ve slept in at a hotel - the mattress was tough and possibly thin at the same time - I woke up every morning with back pains. The first day I was there I used the last of my personal shampoo/soap I still had left and the second morning when I went into the shower to use the soap dispenser the hotel has, it was completely empty. I had to go downstairs but couldn’t find anyone (again reception hours should be better). I then had to message them through booking.com and someone replied back and a person knocked on my door about an hour later since I first walked in the shower to fill up the dispenser. I like to start my day early and I lost valuable time on something that should be checked during turnover. The wifi kept disconnecting, especially at night it wouldn’t stay connected for me for more than a minute. The single room considering everything and the fact that it’s not an expensive country, is highly overpriced.
The location is ideal, very close to the old town square. Despite it being an old place, they have upkept the cleanliness. I didn’t have much interaction with the staff but they seemed ok.

DenmarkNot even a kettle provided. No lift. Not a good choice for family with kids. Not a great chance of breakfast as well. I booked this with breakfast which is waste of money. No change or towels when we requested for keeping the room, they just kept the towels on the heaters. Not even changed the towels in the washroom that were left on the floor. Not sure how they claimed it as a 3 star.
Location is very good, apart of that I don’t feel any further good with this hotel.
