No wonder what kind of public transport, bus, tram, and metro to go to the properties, you need to walk around 700m in some kind of cobble street. My luggage wheels were damaged when I went to property from nearby metro station. I cann't find any staff for help, the only staff I met was the lady who serve and cleaning lady for the breakfast.

The property is located in quiet district in Prague, the included breakfast offered good and reasonable choice of food you can expect for a buffet breakfast. The wifi there is reasonably good.

We received a text message to say that there will not be staff at the hotel on New Year's Eve. We were able to follow the instructions and access our rooms but when we had trouble with electricity cutting out, we called the emergency number and the person was unhelpful and at some point suggested that may be we have done something that caused the electricity to fail. The breakfast room is on the small side and there wasn't enough room for us to have our breakfast.

We booked a room for 3 people and we got two rooms either side of the bathroom. We didn't expect this and were pleasantly surprised. The location of the hotel was very good and easy to get from the centre of Prague. Martin, the owner was responsive to our call around 10pm when the light cut out in our rooms. He came over to the hotel, replaced batteries on the door lock and offered us 50% discount due to the inconvenience, which we accepted and thought it was a generous offer.

The room had one bed less than expected (no problem) and no bathroom; instead, it was shared with a neighbouring room (no big issue, but still...).

Two small issues: the shower door didn't fully shut. Also, when I checked in at 2pm there were many people waiting to do the same. Someone put the door code in (the same as my room code) and it struck me: it looks like everyone has the same code. Therefore I always had this nagging doubt about security when I was out and about. This could easily be bypassed by giving room cards or keys - this system just takes one dishonest person to test it. Nothing actually happened and my possessions were fine, I should point that out.

Marianeum is situated in a really nice spot between Vinohrady and Stare Vrsovice, just off the tram and not far from the Namesti Miru metro stop. There's a really beautiful park a short walk away and there's a few restaurants, bars, and coffee stops nearby if you can't be bothered heading to the Old/New Town or even up into the main stretch of Vinohrady. The room I had was somewhat basic but everything delivered: the bed was comfortable, the blinds shut fully, the desk was spacious, there was storage space, there was no sound bleed from other rooms or the street below, the chair was comfortable enough to work from for a while, and the wi-fi held well for a 1hr meeting. The shower was also hot and powerful.

I’ve stayed here before and it’s a great place to stay, within walking distance to Prague centre. The little kitchen area outside rooms is a bonus! Lovely hot shower too and cheap! Would I stay again? YES! Access to hotel is also simple using the code!

The hotel is a bit far from the city center, but it’s very convenient for transportation—about a 10-minute walk to the metro station and 5 minutes to the tram. The area is very quiet with not many tourists around, making it quite comfortable.

I only spent one day there but the room would be a bit crammed if it would be longer.

Nice and easy check-in, comfortable room, and I had a good night's sleep. The location was good and the neighbourhood seemed safe. There were shops and bars closeby. Internet was fine.
