Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

IsraelThe only thing that was a bit annoying is that every time someone in the hotel closes the door you will hear it from your room (not terrible at all).
Everything was wonderful, from the receptionist to the cleaning team. My fiancé and I got married in Prague and the hotel staff was so nice, they made two swans in a shape of hearth with towels and left a box of chocolate with a lovely letter. The location is amazing! There are some places near the hotel like donuteria, Choco Café and more that you must try! The room was big and clean with a huge bathroom.

United KingdomNo bar No common seating area to relax outside the room. We stayed at the rear of the hotel and had a view of what appeared to be a hostel for the homeless and had to witness one stripping off one morning. Some staff were very unhelpful regarding advice for what to do and things to see. Finally, we had breakfast included but found it was very poor and we ate out every morning instead.
Location was good and the room was a good size.

PhilippinesEven if the hotel was located near the sights and restaurants, I didn't like the surroundings: Graffiti on the walls around us made the surroundings look seedy. Also, you had to climb steep steps to the Reception. Although there was a door beside the main entrance to go thru to get to the elevators, you had to ring for Reception to open the door. Card keys didn't work to enable opening of the side door, so you had to practically always go up the steps to the hotel. The hallway thru the side door was also kind of creepy.
The rooms were very spacious and the beds comfortable. Lots of closet space. The Front Desk staff was helpful. Food was pretty good even if not plentiful; and they varied it daily. Loved the brand and selection of teas.

United KingdomNot sure why it’s called the Presidential Suite, other than the balcony the room is small and dark (superior rooms much brighter) sink is in the living room? It’s advertised as having a mini bar - it’s a small empty fridge! Breakfast was poor, the hot offer was hot dogs and over cooked eggs, the coffee was cold, no toaster. On arrival my wife was very unwell so I asked for a place she could lie down, the manager didn’t ask how she could help my wife she just kept saying “i can give you a room but will have to charge you £200 extra” When I argued we had a room to check in to three hours later she then said I might be able to do it for £60. I would happily pay whatever but the complete lack of service or concern from the manager was appalling. That is sadly my first and last impression of this hotel. Such a shame as Prague is wonderful and other than the reception experience the other staff were lovely. Service is simple - imagine how you would want your parents to be treated and you will be focusing on whats important, not policy or making money.
Location superb. Good lift, comfortable bed, friendly transfer to airport.

United StatesWe had an issue with the air conditioning. They tried to help by putting in a portable air fan. Had a little trouble getting it to work but then it was able to cool off the room.
The location of the hotel was great. We were walking distance to most places. I loved that breakfast was included and they were able to accommodate my dietary needs.

CyprusThe bed was a bit high in one of the rooms and made it uncomfortable. We had issues with taxi booking due to a staff mistake and we nearly lost our reservation at the restaurant during our last night.
Everything was good and the staff were very helpful. There were some issues with A/C and hot water but the reception staff were quick to resolve any issues.

United KingdomOn the first evening, there was a loud vibrating noise coming from one of the wardrobes. Inside we found a very large electrical board and we were worried about the level of noise coming from it. We rang the reception and after 5 minutes, the noise stopped. We were woken up at 6am the next morning, by the same loud noise. We rang reception, but there was no answer. The noise stopped after 5 minutes. The third morning, the same noise woke us up at 8am. The reception's response was abrupt, (it was our fault not notifying them earlier, despite our 3 earlier calls to them and a technician would be called soon). During breakfast, we were given the option to change rooms which we did. We are alarmed that a possible major electrical fault was occuring on our exit route from the room and the hotel didn't investigate it straight away. Our room was on the third floor and if there was an electrical fire, our exit route would have been blocked due the proximity of the board.
Great location, easy to access on foot all main attaractions. The hotel is located close to some great restaurants and bars. Clean rooms, however the air con is set on winter mode, which made the rooms really hot on sunny warm spring days. I wouln't recommend the breakfast option; limited choice and cheap quality products for both cooked and continental options.

United States1) Climate/temperature control system was poor - room was at 23.5C & staff couldn't really reduce it by much. I was asked to keep the windows open, which turned out to be a noisy experience all night long. 2) Staff could be friendlier (although no issue, per se)
1) Good convenient location. 2) Pretty good breakfast 3) Spacious family room. 4) Good overall value.

TurkeyThe room was so different than what I saw on pictures. It was so disappointing. We tried to upgrade room but there was only one presidential room and it was not available. Room was small and there was no door for cupboard to put my clothes. There was nothing to put my luggage on to open and take off my clothes. Bathroom was extremely dark and it was difficult to do make-up etc.
I like the location. It was 2 minutes away from Charles Bridge. Old Town Square was only 5 minutes away by walk. Breakfast was also great.
