Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

IrelandThe electronic check in system is far too complicated. The fact that in "quiet hours" if you exit the hotel you need your PIN to re-enter is NOT explained, one of our party went out at 0630 without his and could not re-enter until another of our at 0700 and could let him in.
Easy access Good price

PolandMany people complain that they can't find the entrance. I'll write about my experience and a few important points. I arrived at 23:30, there is no reception. Self-check-in. 1. After booking, don't miss the letter from the hotel where you will need to follow the link and register at the hotel by entering your personal information. 2. After that, you will be given a key code and PIN code to enter the hotel and your room number. 3. Look for the entrance, find the door approximately here 49.183762, 16.761191, I attached a photo. It is in the courtyard, follow the sign as you go to the casino, go further and go inside the courtyard. 4. Look for the inscription "enter code", enter the code that you were given when checking in on the Alfred website. 5. The door will open. Go upstairs and look for a shelf with closed boxes there. Enter the same PIN code again, your box with the key will light up. I got two keys: one for the common corridor, the other for your room. 6. Go upstairs and look for your room. 7. When leaving, don't forget to check out online on the Alfrel website.
The room is worth the money, good beds, there is a toilet and shower. I just don't understand why the hotel doesn't write such a detailed letter, but I do? I hope it helps.

FinlandWhen we arrived we noticed a horrible stench in the room, especially in the bathroom, and also in the corridor. We couldn't get any help because there wasn't anybody present at the hotel reception, and the phone number didn't answer. We were very tired but after an hour we were so nauseous that we had to leave and book another place in the middle of the night. The room wasn't habitable for a human being. Also, the whole area was full of people late in the night and it felt restless. I strongly recommend avoiding this motel.
There wasn't anything I can say I liked.

PolandBe warned. The worst experience I have ever had. I made the booking at 23.35 on 15th March for one night. My reservation was accepted and confirmed. I said I would arrive between 12.00 and 1 am. Not an unusal time for a motel by a freeway I arrived at the specified time and spent over 30 minutes walking around the outside of the building, knocking on doors and windows. I sent the hotel a message and not receiving a reply, I went to the Casino which was in the basement of the same building - they said they had nothing to do with the motorrest. Of course, I tried putting in the confirmation number I received from Booking.com and the PIN - no combination would work. I was driving all day from Italy with my wife and we were very tired. I tried calling Booking, but the system could not put me through to an operator. After about 45 minutes, I made a second booking in desperation, in the same city. At the end, even after I could not get into the hotel, had no idea which room to go to even if I did - the hotels sent me a message the following morning asking me when I wanted to CHECK OUT. This is a scandal.
Nothing good to say. I could not gain access to the room I paid for.
