Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Don't pay extra for the breakfast. It's only a small croissant and small coffee.
Excellent position in the old town. Easy to find. 24hr front desk.

No parking lots. Towel rental was expensive.
The room was spacious, clean, and the bed was comfortable. The kitchen is good. Excellent location.

I haver probably got bugs from staying there since my skin started tó felé itchy after staying there.
It is in the old town which is great!

Was all good pretty much. Just one of the bathroom sinks was clogged at the last day. I’m sure staff fixed it next day though.

Cleanliness and organisation of rooms & facilities as well as cleaning rooms could be improved. Some broken locks on doors, meaning unsecure rooms… I may have just got the worst room but I’ve stayed here before and I had a better experience with this area.
Location is honestly the best you will ever get in Prague. I could you not it’s about a 30 second walk to the old town hall with the clock tower etc. I personally believe the location is worth all the money, but if like to base your opinion on cleanliness and facilities, this may have to be your second option. I stay here when I visit Prague, for what I paid I am always satisfied.

The smoking alarming beep sound was so annoying , after every one minute the sharp beep sound was turn on, I request to the receptionist but it didn’t work. Over all it was nice except the sound of smoke alarm

Two of the shower rooms did not have places to put your clothes so mine got wet. The hall floor could be cleaner. Lockers are worthless cause every Key is same i think cause i tried to open other and IT worked. My last complaint is the locks ON the doors for shower facility and toilet. Dont work on most
Senga the bed was awesome. 3toilets in my hall this is suficient. Easy to open Windows and get fresh air important with 8 ripping gases etcetera.

The towels were a little small but that is my only criticism and it wasn't a big deal.
The room and bathrooms were clean and the bed was comfortable. The hostel is in a great location near to the old town. The staff were friendly and explained everyrhing well. I would recommend this hostel. 👌

It seems that breakfast rates were higher. For example, I bought one croissant and hostel charged me 70 CZK , so is the coffee rate.
Indian guy from Rajasthan at reception was very nice. His guidance helped me during stay and travelling.

They should clean the rooms more often. Breakfast is a croissant and a coffee/milk/juice, but - like the employee said "this is an hostel, not an hotel".
Great location. 400m from Praga's main square. Quiet street. Small bedroom but enough for short stays (2 or 3 days) in the city. Public transportation 5 min away on foot.

Dark and dingy. The lights are sensor and wouldn’t stay on longer than 5 seconds. It was extremely difficult to get organized at your locker. No reason not to have lockers at the individual unit you slept in, where there was a light that could be turned on. It would also be less distracting for everyone else as you could be done in less than 1/2 the time. The pillows were great, the bed felt like you were sleeping on the floor, very hard, painful after long travels. A mini bar of soap was provided with a hand towel but there was no soap in the toilets and it was a great pain to always wrap it back up and bring it with you every single time. The shower I used was clogged and I couldn’t run the water for more than 1.5 minutes, which made showering long and cold (having to turn the water off and wait for it to drain enough not to flood. Staff were okay, not great. There’s a tourist tax that must be paid on arrival and you can only pay by card, they don’t accept cash. Really painful for someone who gets charged the exchange rate for 50 korun, include it in your booking fees!!!
