Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Some days were hot and the room was very warm even during the night. A/C wasnt available in the room thus a couple of nights it was difficult to sleep due to high temperature in the room.

We really missed a small fridge and the AC. We spent here 3 nights in June and the temp was 27-30 at night and obviously much higher during the day.
The metro station is close to the hostel (10 min walk, or 1 stop with tram). The room was clean and spacious at a reasonable price. The bed is really comfortable.

There's nothing that we didn't like. For that price you can't complain.
Very good value for money. The staff was friendly, the lobby is cool, and the hostel is close to a metro station. Great!

Staircase up to reception isn’t ideal. Rooms could be more colourful, a bit bland.
Comfortable stay, plenty of room. Staff were friendly. It was easy to find, close to shops and restaurant and within walking distance of metro station. I like the free mini toiletries and pool.

The bathroom could use some renovation. The toilets weren't always clean. The room was really hot. I don't know if there's any sort of a kitchen available for guests - didn't find it, but to be honest, didn't ask either, as I didn't need it that much.
I liked the location of the hostel - it was not that far from the centre, and really close to the venue the concert I went to took place at. There are shops and restaurants nearby. The tram and the underground are very close too. The room was alright, although quite hot (hotter than the common space, for example). There's a free luggage storage, which is pretty cool. The staff was nice. In general, it's a decent place.

No kitchen facility. Room was at street level, so it was not safe to open the window at night. They should install some kind of protection fekce
Swimming and sauna for free (although we could not used due to very short stay). Helpful staff. They have common fridge inside the reception and luggage storage room.

None. Although my room was ready at 2.30pm, just mind of the early 11am check out and 3pm checking time.
Friendly personnel 5* Many quick snacks machines available with option breakfast onsite (affordable) + access to free Sauna and Swimming pool. Optional gym access. Quiet and safe neighbourhood (15min by tram to the Old Town) with dining multiple dining options / mini-markets around.

The only thing we could fault is the noise insulation wasn't the best and it did get a little hot in the rooms. However this did not bother us that much!
The room was very big and very clean. Beds were comfy enough and the bathroom was in great condition! It came with little tolietries and even had a hairdryer. For the price it was extremely good value! Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting prague. Some people may say it's a little far from the city centre but it was extremely close to the tram station, because the transport is so cheap in Prague it didn't bother us!

Far of city but with a lot of transport. Not very comfortable pillows. It didnt have kettle in the room, coffee and tea.
Big room with fan so It was possible to sleep fue to the hot nights. Clean, nice personal, good price.

Swimming pool and sauna can be more clean. Not all the staff speaks english, just friendly reception.
Clean rooms and bathrooms, quick check-in and sauna included. Location is a bit far from center but with local transportation system makes it easy to reach center within 20 min.

Too far away from the city center, not accessible by foot (though only 15 mins by public transport). There are lockers in the room, but one has to buy a lock (15 crowns).
Wi-fi works well, rooms are clean. Toiled and shower are in the room. I liked it that there were only four beds in the room. There is a free swimming pool.

I didn’t mind that the workers didn’t spoke czech or that I booked 1 double bed room and in the end we got room w/ four separate beds. But what I did mind is that in the morning someone without knocking entered our room. They immediately closed the door as they saw me half naked in the bathroom, but still! I hope next time there will be knock on the door first.
It was a lovely place to stay, room was clean, big windows that I love :) and the breakfast was great, the only thing I missed there was scrambled eggs :D
