Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomA little bit of noise from other guests in the evening - the sound insulation isn't great, but it wasn't bad.
The staff went above and beyond to help me find my way around and charge my phone. The room and bathroom were exceptionally clean.

MontenegroThey gave us even the bigger room than the one that we booked. Receptionist were very kind, room was super clean and bed was comfy. It' not reslčy nesr the city centar but the public transportation is really well covered, and it is just around the corner. Taken everything in consideration, it was really good accomodation for small price of money.

ItalyChosing a dorm room it is a wonderful way to get to know new people from all over the world. But it can be uncomfortable, when the other people's habits or way of being does not match yours. I thank the reception staff for always being ready to anticipate or promptly resolve situations that could degenerate.

AzerbaijanThe people who stayed with me didn’t follow the hygiene standards and one of them was very noisy even in the evening. I was outside most of the day so, didn’t complain about it to the staff.
The staff was helpful and they set after 10pm no disturbance time which helped the property to be utterly silent.

SlovakiaIf the quiet hours are set from 10 pm to 6 am, then any potential guests should not be allowed to be checked in during the regular bedtime period, unless they would have booked a private room. Otherwise they are supposed to be placed in an empty dorm instead, so they don't disturb those regular guests in the middle of the night. On the very first night of my 2 day stay, the hostel reception entitled a suspicious couple in their 20s (obviously drug-addicted, with no luggage whatsoever which was another red flag to notice!) to enter the premises shortly before midnight. It took the youngsters 3 hours to settle in, because 2 hrs they'd spend in the bathroom, very likely washing their clothes as well, and then another hour to adjust their bunk bed (BTW: since they had no personal belongings basically, they cut the bed sheets, so they could use it as towels among other after taking their shower as well as making a bunker around their bed). Their lamp was switched on all night lamp, even after they would went to sleep. Upon my late arrival next day, I'd learn they had stolen a wallet to an overweight Polish guy who was snoring as hell all the night of course, so it wouldn't make much difference either way staying there. I found difficult to believe though that a person who holds 300 euros or so in cash allegedly, wouldn't be able to book a cheap private room instead, or at least wouldn't have a money to pay a deposit for a locker to secure his belongings. Not mentioning the fact that neither Poland (his home country), nor the Czech Republic (his short term destination) do have European currency. Next day when he was supposed to travel home, taking a train in the middle of the night, he himself decided to be a pain in the ass again, while staying in the room by midnight, instead waiting in the lounge zone till his time to leave finally comes. I didn't get any sleep either night myself.
Friendly but indifferent stuff with basically none able to communicate also in the local language based on my observation.

United KingdomOne of the individuals in the room was a long-term guest at the hostel and appeared to treat it as if it were his own home. He would leave the lights on and play loud music without headphones, even when others in the room were trying to sleep. While this behavior is not entirely the fault of the hostel, steps could be taken to prevent such guests from treating the shared space as a personal residence
Amazing place, close to the old town. Very friendly people around, full of restaurants I’d definetely recommended

RomaniaNothing to say. The value of money was great for this stay.
This is a very good quality hostel. The position is great for visiting the entire city being very close to public transportation. Also, the private parking (behind the hostel, guarded and closed) is a big plus if you travel by car. We had a 4 bed room rented only for two. Clean rooms, clean bathroom, nice stay. You could tell that the room was disinfected before we arrived. Good and relaxing bed, clean sheets. It also has a sauna and pool, but we didn't have the time to check them.
