Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The only thing that we didn’t like was that the radiator was not working perfectly, and also there wasn’t any bedside tabel to put our stuff on.

Bath and toilet don’t have ventilation system, so it’s easy to find mold. People write about the temperature in the room, but in fact they turn heating only for the night. Usually when you came around 10PM you will find warm room. The restaurant has the same food every day (I was there 2 days in the raw)

The relax zone with swimming pool + sauna was AMAZING. I was expecting the gym to be free too, but you have to pay to get access to it. Also, if you're a gym rat, you can buy some supplements at the hostel, which was unexpected but EXTREMELY tempting. The shared room was as expected. If you don't have a padlock, you can rent it at the reception. Bed lining is provided but towels aren't; however, you can rent them. Make sure to have some czech crowns on you to use the laundromat and the vending machines. At the reception they also accept euros, which was a plus. For the price I've paid, it was EXTREMELY good. I've been to a few hostels in the rest of Europe but nothing compares to this one so far, this quality for the price is something you can't easily find.

The vending machine did not work, but the girl at the reception helped us, so no real issues here. The restaurant is outside of the main building, so that was a little bit annoying when it was raining outside. But its only a few steps, so nothing too bad. The breakfast is good, but there could be a little bit more options maybe. But for two days it was totally ok.
The staff was really nice! They were helpful and kind, which can be rare nowdays. The place is great, especially for the price. Public transport is easily reachable and most things are within short distances. The rooms were clean, they give us towels (no charge) and the heating was working well. The breakfast was delicious. You can pay by card the morning you want to eat. No need to order it in advance. The place has vending machines as well, for water, other drinks and even sandwitches. There is a microwave and electric water heater for everyone to use. All in all, I would recommend this place if you need a place to sleep while you are sight seeing in Prague.

unfortunately, the hostel is a bit away from the centre, takes around 20min by tram to reach the central/tourist parts. the staff was not very warm and welcoming either so less 1/2 point for that
it's amazing to pay so little and have so much. Going to the sauna and pool after a day of exploring is the cherry on top of the cake. the room is one of the most spacious dorm rooms I have ever stayed in. It was very warm and clean. The lockers are big and have hangers, which is perfect. I stayed in a mixed dorm and felt always very safe, the room was designed to give privacy to everyone. the toilet sink and shower are all in isolated rooms allowing people to use everything without trouble.

The location was good, only 2 minutes walk from trams stations (that connects easily with other trams or bus stations) and made it easy to travel all over Prague in like 20 min. Also very close to corner shops.

There's no shared kitchen but have microwave and kettle.

The staff at the reception look weird. It's not comforting to talk to a guy who wears red lipstick. I had already been there many times when I was younger, but this time, it gave me a slight sense of decay
Huge budget hostel. It is equipped to accommodate school groups and large groups of people as well as individual travelers. In general, the services are proportional to the price of the reservation

They are all so friendly. I really enjoyed my staying.Thank you so much xxx Plus Prague is so close from everything. Metro ,shops,restaurants and not too far from citycenter (I walked all the time,that was my goal,I didn't buy metro tickets or busses :) ) . If I come back again, I will stay hier again :) Keep up the good work guys!

The room smelled of chlorine but after opening windows for a bit the smell dispersed.
Staff were kind and helpful. Pool and sauna were a great commodity. The room was clean and tidy.

They were not so clear about the time frame one could use their sauna and that you needed to ask them 30 minutes beforehand because the sauna was off and needed time to heat up. But apart from this we had a great time!
The location was very good and well connected to the city center. The building was clean and comfortable and so was the room.
