Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

TurkeyThe hair dryer wasn't working properly. The flash in the toilet was draining constantly and it was annoying not to be able to stop it. The toilet needs some maintenance. It's not close to the main attraction points thus you always have to take tram. There is always a sound from youths in the corridors.
The room was big enough and clean. The staff was quite friendly.

BelgiumThe wooden bunk beds don't seem very robust, they move/shake when someone climbs the ladder. You have to bring or buy a (very small) padlock for the lockers. (Though I didn't, without any problem.) The rooms aren't very large, there isn't enough room for everyone to open a large suitcase.
It's unbelievable that a hostel has a pool and sauna included for free. (I didn't use them.) This was probably the best value hostel I've ever visited; only 10 euro for a bed in a 4-bed room that was never fully occupied, with separate toilet and bathroom attached to the room, a small desk, individual bedside lights, good heating, and cleaned daily. Little noise, could sleep quite well.

FinlandThere was a bad smell in our room possibly due to shower drainage issues. Our bathroom sink plug was broken and shower holder didn't work. To most of all, the bathroom had visible surface mold between the tiles and also in dorm roof. As the price was highly affordable, we expected that the place wouldn't stand to that high standard but this was way below the satisfactory level for us.
Friendly staff.

Egyptthere was no cups or free coffee you have to buy from the machine so you have to ask the receptionist to get empty cups and for the rooms first of all the pillows are really uncomfortable at all and there was no curtain for each bed and there was no outlet beside my bed to charge my phone so i had to leave it away from me … and there was no soap or shower gel in the toilet and the heater was not working well

PolandNo real kitchen to speak of, which would bother me if I were actually staying in Prague.
This was just a pit stop for me I was flying across Europe with a car full of stuff for a move to another country. However it was ideal for my purposes. They had a 24h reception and I ended up needing to check in at 2am which was fine. They also have secure private parking. Again ideal for me considering my car was completely full and would be a target for thieves in a city like Prague. Showers were great, loads of pressure and hot water.

IrelandA lot of great facilities (swimming pool, sauna, even a gym with extra charge), beds were quite comfy for a hostel, common room really nice. And while it was a bit far from the city centre, it was only a 5 minute walk from tram, or a 15 min walk from metro, so it wasn't that bad

SingaporePaid EUR cash, and they gave me a terrible rate (like EUR 5 extra for a Eur60 room). No flex on check in as well so wasted an hour waiting round. It's a hostel so noise is to be expected. Earplugs helped.
Location is good, they have luggage and fridge storage (at recep). Room was huge.
