Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

It could be noisy becuase of the poor noise proof system. And there was no air-co but a fan. The fan could be too noisy if you want to keep it on while you sleep.
The room was clean. Hot water was good. Location was far from the cental but close by the tram stop. They had a gym and a swimming pool but I didn't had a change to use it.

We were checked in by a lovely lady (sorry I have forgotten her name) who told us all about travelling around the city. We were staying two nights and paid £11 euro to park in their car park which was great value. The bed was surprisingly comfortable and the room was large. It was very quiet at night (we were expecting some noise as there were a lot of youngsters) We didn't use the facilities but it was nice to know that we could

The lock on our toilet door was broken but other than that it was great
I liked the locker size and the room, we didn’t use the pool but it looked nice!

They do not provide towels or toiletries.
Location is a bit far from the city centre but you do not feel it because of the wonderful Prague transportation system. It was value for money tbh. I recommend any budget traveller. It is a great option.

Not great location but tram 6 and 12 takes you to centrum within 25min. Tram is 5 min walking from this hostel Doors are closing very hard. Quiet hours seems to be respected but you get awake because of the automatic slamming doors.soft close would be helpfull.
We were at family room with bathroom. Room is big and clean. Place is old but clean.

no plugs next to the beds (only some beds had it), wooden bunkbeds felt flimsy everything did have to be in change and they didn't have easy change converters, and paid atm

While Sauna and pool are free, Gym can be used for an additional fee, personal rooms could use a bit more live during cleaning
Great facilities, clean and well maintained, quiet location but some nice bars around it, around 20min to city Center and Prague castle by tram, common areas are really clean

Washing machines were not great and the drainage in the showers were blocked. Also could get hot at night without an air conditioning.

The rooms have no AC unfortunately, which isn’t the end of the world but the fans in the rooms didn’t seem to make any difference. So this made for some sweaty nights in the 35° Prague heat.
Exceptional value for money! This hostel was about a 5 minute walk from the tram stop that takes you directly into town. The rooms were spacious and clean, and the hostel has a swimming pool and sauna that are free to use for all customers. I would definitely stay here again!

A little loud, and a very young crowd.
The people working during my stay were legends, having access to a pool, sauna and gym was amazing, super comfy bed and close to public transport

There are no cooking facilities. No soap and shampoo in the bathrooms. The water of the swimming pool was cold.

There were a lot of large groups there while I was staying, some of them for bucks parties, who behaved quite inappropriately (for example walking around nude, or being very drunk and leering at me and saying weird things). This isn’t really the hostel’s fault but I think there is a risk of this if you accept bucks party reservations. Anyway, I didn’t really feel comfortable here as a solo female traveller
Staff were friendly and there were good facilities. Overall it was a good place to stay

Not really comfy bed, but I'm used to sleeping on really comfy bed, so who knows. This time I had a room that had shower and toilet in the same room, so that's not all that great.
Love the card key system, nice room. Communal room is great, there are vending machines, so amazing. Staff is always nice, there are nice people in general. This was my second visit, for that price, absolutely stunning.
