The fact we were in a different building and not told during booking, a little honesty would go a long way.

The room was actually not in the Podhrad hotel but in a different building next to the main hotel. The parking was good and the room was clean with a magnificent view over the golf course and mountains in the distance, very nice. The room was very quiet and very clean. The breakfast and spa facilities were excellent, definitely recommended.

It was rather warm on the days we stayed in the hotel and the lack of cooling systems would be the only negative point I would make about this nice place that we would very much like to come back to.

Charming hotel with the old times vibe in the vicinity of the beautiful Hluboka castle settled in the cutest, most picturesque town of Hluboka. The entire area sends you back in time in the most positive way. Very good breakfast and a super pleasant and light dining area. Friendly and hospitable staff. Rooms are spacious and clean.

A very cozy and cute hotel! The service was excellent – friendly receptionists and staff. The suite was spacious and comfortably furnished. We recommend it and hope to visit again someday!

No really negative points. Access to parking is really narrow (even with a car there are centimeters on each side of free space when driving through a passage, can't imagine a van) and breakfast with reception is in a nearby building.

Positioned close to the Hloubka Castle (beautiful castle) within a walking distance. Peacefull location and spaceious room with clean bathroom, although it has a shower in a tub with a curtain. Private parking and working WiFi. For golf players is a perfect spot due to a nearby golf course with a beautiful view to a castle above.

We had a pleasant stay at the hotel. The breakfast was good, the location was great, and the room was clean. While it's not luxurious, it suited our needs well. We particularly enjoyed the wellness facilities, including the sauna, pool, and whirlpool, which were perfect after a day of sightseeing. The restaurant at the hotel was good, and the great hotel location allowed us to explore nearby restaurants too. Overall, it was a satisfying experience.

The reception aria doesn’t have proper ventilation and use of air fresheners are health hazardous because all of them add chemicals to already poor quality imprisoned air in the stair case.

We had booked dinner for 7.30.in the hotel restaurant.Waitress quite stand- offish. We ordered a quite nice bottle of wine with our meal- which was good. Before 9 o’clock part of the restaurant was closed and lights were switched off.At 9.30 we were asked whether we wanted to order something, we declined as we still had a glass of wine from our bottle. We were then presented with the bill and a hint that they are closing- which had been obvious anyways. Hluboka is a small place where you are depending on the hotels since there are no other places to go. So we were forced to retreat to our room at 10- with a noisy and loud private party opposite the hotel, so that sleeping was impossible till well after midnight- the partying has been stated in many other reviews of this hotel- but obviously the hotel feels that the tourists come once only and don’t have to do anything about it. Night was over at 7pm, no blinds or proper curtains for the windows either.Upon our arrival we were present with a paper that stated that the restaurant was open till 11 pm and we could order till 10 pm btw.

The wellness centre was very clean, staff very charming.food excellent, breakfast and supper. Beds very comfortable and clean. Reception staff speak English which helped as my Czech is a bit rusty

Nice hotel, in center of Hluboka, as name suggests "under castle", with cozy rooms and very good amenities (free breakfast, wifi, parking, one free access per stay to wellness), in a walking distance (uphill :) from the beautiful white 🏰 Hluboka.

When booking it was not obvious we will not stay in a main building but in dependance. It was close by, but I would still prefer the main building. Room was ok. Welness was a bit small, for 2 ppl fine but I cant imagine 8 as its maximum. There would not be sufficient resting chairs. Pool is small.

Location was great, just under the castle, close to the city center and to the lakes.
