Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United Kingdomthis building has literally not been refurbished in the last 40 years. everything is very old and rundown, they do clean it, but not deep clean. paint was falling off in the bathroom, wardrobe was full of dust, everything squeaked. Girls at the reception were friendly. It's fairly central as a location and they offer a basic breakfast. they have parking as well but it's first come first served. it is cheap but you could get better value somewhere else i would say.

PolandThe toilet was outside the room, there was no electric kettle in the room. the dust in a room, the room and shower need cleaning.
The personel was very nice, and helpful, it was near the city centrum (20 min of walking), on the next street was a bus stop. on the breakfast was little but enough to feed, for me was ok and everything I needed. you need to know that the hotel is quite old, and maybe require renovation, but the worse is that the hotel's room require very good cleaning in corners, under the bed, the matrass and in the shower.

GeorgiaWi-fi didn't work in my room and staff couldn't fix it for my entire stay to a point where they just told me it wasn't their problem. The room only had one small fan for cooling and it wasn't enough

Czech RepublicHaving the bathroom and toilet outside the hotel room and having to drag my keys with me everytime I went to one of them felt a little odd. I had to leave the hotel at 7 am due to my appointment but could not get the breakfast earlier. So I missed it, and there was "nothing to do about it."
The room was cute and cozy. The location is fine.

United KingdomI had a bit of a problem with the WiFi, otherwise all good.
Good place to stay for five nights in Brno. Two tram stops from the railway station just outside the historic centre. Pleasant atmosphere and nice room in oldish hotel. Would recommend. Also recommend Hotel Sharingham restaurant. Good trips outside Brno include Brno dam, Komeriz, Zlin and Znojmo.

Croatiawi-fi was quite bad and didn't work in my room. Hot water pressure was quite bad. And bring your own toiletries -- 'free toiletries' was a small sachet of shampoo -- and potentially a face towel (I only got one towel)
It is truly a 2-star hotel :) big and basic, a bit run down, but it's pretty much 'you get what you pay for', and for me the price was very acceptable, location was excellent (between the two locations I used the most, and also 5minutes from 3 different tram lines). The staff was nice, breakfast very generous and nice. I had a great view and, once I thoroughly aired out the place, it was quite nice :) Also, bed was comfortable, and the place was clean!

GermanyRoom was really small and we were expecting to have private bath room (as per reserved) and ended up having shared one. A lot of noise in the morning from the breakfast room had us early awaken.
Location is good, parking was free, you can leave the car in parking and go visit Brno by foot,

GermanyIt was a bit impractical that the toilet was not in the room, but around the corner and you needed to get out of the room every time you wanted to use the toilet. The shower was not really working, the hot water was just dripping out of it and it took an eternity to "shower". The matress was very thin so you could feel everything underneath. Not very comfortable. Breakfast was ok, but I've had better.
The staff is very nice and eager to help. It's great that the hotel has its own parking lot behind the hotel, so the car can be parked safely.

GermanyThe hotel needs urgently a renovation. The rooms are very poor or extremely simple equipped - the furniture seems to be quite outworn. Actually a single room's equipment is only one or two separate beds/sleeping sofas, a TV set (a good one with Czech channels) and maybe one small table. The bathrooom is clean - but needs a renovation. However, for example for student trips, where you really just need the basics, or if you really just need a place to sleep this hotel could be an option. The WiFi did not work for me - however, this can be that my room was too remotely located from the router.
The Hotel Pyramida in Brno is clearly a budget hotel. It is clean and the breakfast (continental style) is OK and at an average/acceptable (but not outstanding) quality level with jam, honey, cheese, sausage, scrambled eggs, muesli, toast, croissants, coffee, juice etc. The price per night and single room with gross 40 EUR was OK, considering that breakfast was included. However, the price represented an acceptable but not an excellent value for money, since the furniture and euqipment of the hotel was quite outworn and not in good shape. The hotel is good for having a clean and warm place to sleep - but not for having a cozy place. For me it was important to have a clean place to sleep for a minimum price after I got sleepy during my night trip by car so that I needed a break. For this it was OK. The staff is friendly and helpful. The hotel is not really centrally located but is still quite close to the city center - by car it is very well accessible from the highway. The reception is open 24 hours (although the night receptionist told me that it is not the case - but the labels in the hotel as well as websites in internet said that the reception is open all night - I arrived at 3:00 am and got my room). Parking was not an issue.
