Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

SlovakiaThe beds are a bit hard and make sound by every move. The bathroom and toilet are private but the hallway must be crossed, which is a bit uncomfortable. They must be unlocked.
The hotel is 17 minute walk from the main train station and offers good breakfast included in the price.

Czech RepublicThin walls, I heard the neighbor even just unlocking. The shower head barely flowed. Cold water, low pressure, old batteries. Drop-in cabinet. A thin blanket and a low pillow. Two plugs in room, which one ended, when I insert charger.
Location good nearby tram stop and the river. Main train station 15 min walk. Breakfast type: take what you want(cereal, eggs&sausages, sweet, bread&ham/cheese, yoghurts etc). Harder mattress. Really nice staff(even at night)+drinks to buy at reception.

Czech RepublicThe housekeeping didn't clean the bathroom during the whole week of my stay, and since the bathroom floor was already sticky when I arrived, I'm certain they didn't even clean the bathroom before my arrival. I walked in the bathroom with street shoes because I was disgusted by the bathroom and didn't want to walk there barefoot. I stepped by accident on the towel and left a foot print on it. I than left it on the floor to be exchanged. When I came back after work, the towel was hung on a hook with the same visable footprint of my shoes on it. This is really disgusting and I am never going to set another foot in this hotel ever again.
The Matrasses were really comfortable.

SwedenThe room smelled funky and the bed was very hard, consisting of a thin foam matress on a board. Breakfast included but only if you hurry. Anything gets finished, they will not bring more.
It’s very quirky. Room no 13 has a soft padding made of brown lestherette.

Portugal- The mattresses are pretty thin, but it's not like sleeping on a rock and after the first night I didn't really notice it, in fact it was probably good for my back. If you really can't stand a sub-par mattress, stay somewhere else. - Quite a bit of traffic noise during the morning if you wanted a lie in. - The Wi-Fi is patchy but in their defence it's a large building and they have installed multiple routers to try and fix it. I'm sure they'll get it right eventually but if you are working from there you be prepared to hotspot. - No desk in the room, sadly - would have been useful for work. Let's be clear though, the décor is dated and the mattresses aren't great but folks: this is a hotel. You're not moving into the place. If you can't handle poor décor or a bit of chipped paint then this isn't the place for you, but remember you're a bit off the beaten track in Brno and it's kind of part of the fun in my book.
- Breakfast is great! Yes, it's a bit weird they serve fanta instead of orange juice and it's not the best I've ever had, but it's a good selection with a decent coffee machine. If you don't like it, you don't have to eat it, but I thought it was really nice. - Hotel location is fantastic, you're super close to everything with just a short hop on the tram or a 15-20 min walk. - Staff are *really lovely* although I found a little bit of Czech is really helpful. Every interaction I had was thoroughly pleasant. - Price! I paid around 33EUR/night for a single room with private bathroom (albeit down the hall) for three nights in August - and with breakfast included. - Size of the room was more than adequate.

Czech RepublicThe first room I got smelled of cigarettes badly, had stains on the carpet everywhere and the shower corner... I wouldn´t enter there for any money. Yes, that bad. I changed rooms, the other one was all right, had clean shower. The beds - they are not actually "beds", this hotel has some old coaches stored since the seventies, with wooden frames and no matraces. You can feel every wooden prop. You can´t lie down on it, and you won´t be able to sleep, unless you are a hobbit travelling to Mordor. I don´t need much while travelling. Clean facilities and a clean and comfy bed to rest. But this was as beds go - awful.
The receptionist was very kind. When I got a room (that was truly awful), she offered another one and helped me moving.

IrelandOur room was smelling dog, it was really annoying to sleep because the smell. The bed linen was wet, but we didn’t figure out the reason. Our room doesn’t match with pictures, we slept in a “bed” that seems to be sofa bed. We are really upset and disappointed.

LithuaniaTerrible. Totally worn down, filthy dirty, with bugs and ants crawling around. Rooms seriously stink, some - really terribly, like some chemical waste plant. No joke. The hotel is on a busy noisy street, with worn wooden windows providing zero sound insulation. So from some 6 am you will fell like literally sleeping in a street. Whatever your expectations for a hotel, or a budget - stay away from this terrible hole. Even a night on a bench in a park is a better option.
NOTHING. A terrible hole - stay away from it.
