We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Czech Republicno major issues -> hotel had "self check-in" so we had to fill in our information to a web application to be able to check-in (there was no staff in the hotel upon our arrival). The web application requires insertion of credit card details to pay over Internet for local taxes and for any minibar consumption. As such, this is fine. However, the address of the web application (l.previo.cz) did not seem to be mentioned in the reservation and was only sent in an SMS and a booking message, so attacker could send a fake address and misuse the credit card details. We double-checked the address of the web application with telephone number of the property given at the reservation. -> water was leaking under closed door of shower when showering -> hotel is quite far from the city center. It was no problem for us but be are of it.

HungaryUnfortunately, the minibar in our room didn’t work properly, but it wasn’t a big issue.
The quality of the breakfast was very good, and there was always something to choose from. We also really liked the area. The garden is beautiful and quiet. There's a grocery store nearby in case we need anything.

RussiaOne minor downside was that the self-check-in system wasn't working for card activation, so we had to call support at midnight. However, it's worth mentioning that the support team answered immediately and remotely helped us activate the cards.
The mattress was excellent, and the bed was very comfortable! The hotel offers great value for the price.

Owner was very friendly and spoke English fluently. Online check-in was straight forward and once we arrived at the hotel around 23:30 we could easily get inside without staff. It took us about two minutes to enter our room. Breakfast was quite good, especially since it was free. Parking was easy and many spots where available, we used the EV charging there and it worked perfectly! Overall a nice stay.

It was superb. Everything has its purpose, nothing is useless in this hotel. Very effective. I would use less pillows and turn the heating little bit down.

CroatiaThe deposit of 80 EUR doesn't make sense in a hotel where the staff comes each morning. They can see immediately if you broke something. Another problem is that we stayed in the same week in two different Pytloun places and they made a deposit twice. So at one point 160EUR were reserved as a deposit. This is not a small amount and we kindly suggest to the hotel mangers to reconsider this policy
