Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomReally lovely and helpful staff, great location away from the hustle and bustle of central Prague- a little solace as befitting it's belonging to the Monastery! Great housekeeping and generously-sized rooms.

United KingdomA lovely, well kept hotel located close to Prague castle in a quiet district. Charles Bridge is a 15 minute walk away or you can catch a 22 tram from the stop that’s only 2 minutes from the Hotel. Friendly and helpful staff - we had a great stay. Highly recommended.

IsraelToiletries weren't filled automatically every day in the room and with a long problematic hair like mine, one bottle wasn't enough for 2 days so I had to ask for it twice in our 4 days of satys, but got it with no problem.
I loved the location which is not in the middle of the hustle and bustle of the city, but it is only a 10 min easy rolling down the hill stroll to get to Lesser town and Charles bridge. Every morning we chose a different beautiful path. On the way back we took tram 22 which is 2 min walk from the hotel. The hotel is in an historical 1620 building and has lots of character. Rooms had beautiful beams and were very comfortable and very clean and we slept very well. Breakfast was great- you have an amazing view from the dining room, and you choose your breakfast from a menu and also have a buffet that you use. Very delicious. Staff were lovely and helpful at the reception and dining room.

United StatesBreakfast closes at 10:30 and the selection could be better. But the view from the breakfast room is magnificent.
The hotel sits high on the hill, close to Prague Catle and in the middle of a very busy touristy area. But, at the same time, it faces a monastery and a big park and it is alway easy to find a quiet moment there and to escape the touristy route. Loved the well-preserved historic nature of the building. Special thaks to Ivan at the reception. His help and advice enhances our stay in Prague

Fantastic value and amazing hotel all around! Very clean and spacious rooms, lots of attention to detail as well. Breakfast was amazing too. The location might be a bit far from some of the central attractions (walkable to the castle though) but the tram close by is very convenient.

DenmarkThe breakfast buffet could be improved. More variety, especially because they charge extra for it. The bathrooms could be a bit nicer and cleaner.
The location was fantastic and the hotel style was also very suitable for the city. The breakfast lounge was beautiful.

United KingdomLovely, polite and helpful staff. Nothing Ng was too much trouble. Located just out of the hub from the city centre but just a few team stops to where you needed to go. The Questenberg and it's staff helped made this visit very special and more importantly, memorable. Thank you all very much and would easily recommend this hotel.

IrelandThe breakfast was ok, but there were cafes very near that were cheaper and offered better food (I highly recommend Melvin's).
The building was lovely and the rooms very comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. There is a lovely terrace with stunning views at the back of the hotel to have a quiet drink. There is also excellent connections to public transport with the tram very nearby. It wasn't too much of a walk to get to the core sites in the centre ( about 20 minutes to Charles Bridge) Great location near the castle.

United StatesParking was sometimes hard to find and expensive. The other thing I wasn't fond of was the view outside our window, it looked into someone's yard and sometimes I heard the kids in the yard, I would ask for a room on the left side of the hallway next time, and maybe on the 3rd floor instead of the second.
The old building was beautiful and maintained well. The breakfast was also good and the dining room was very relaxing with a beautiful view; a pleasant way to start the day.

United StatesBreakfast, we been coming back for many time but the breakfast buffet got really small over time, limited selections are getting smaller and smaller, especially the pastry. Coffee was also weak and not as good flavor as before. For the extra price you pay you expect better. Room service for our room came in just before 4pm, when we just got back to refresh before dinner, we called it off. Rooms could use more upkeep in general, wall behind the luggage stand was beat up, and make up mirror in the bathroom had the lights dimmed and not working properly. This hotel needs some general improvements or I will have to start looking elsewhere for my Prague stays.
Location, history, responsive staff.
