Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

BelgiumSimply nothing that comes to my mind..... a bathtub would have been great as it was the first day of winter.
All perfect, starting with friendly check-in in a historical setting, comfy beds - the excellent breakfast freshly prepared main course and free afternoon snack... and all that without being overdone or posh in the vicinity of the castle and monastry.

Very clean and quiet location. The hotel is old but well maintained - great views if you have the right rooms.

United StatesCompact room with unusual lip close to the door and bed. Breakfast good but pricey - 23 Euros. Quiet area in the evening - few restaurants nearby. A longish uphill walk from town.
Comfortable but not luxurious boutique hotel - a break from the safer norm of chain hotels. Adapted historic building. Great views. Hot breakfasts cooked to order - perfectly prepared eggs regardless of type. Helpful reception staff.

United StatesThe receptionist greeted us with so much kindness and provided great recommendations! Our stay was top-notch and felt luxurious. The room was incredible, the beds were comfy, and we appreciated how the smart TV had Netflix. Even though it is a little bit of a walk from downtown, I enjoyed the walk to and from the hotel. Located right near the beautiful park for evening walks. I would stay here again and again!!

MexicoLocation seems far from the center at first, but you're a couple of blocks from Prague Castle and 15 minutes from Charles Bridge. Place is Gorgeous and we'll kept. Their restaurant is located in a catacomb 10 minutes from the hotel. The food is amazing.

IsraelEvery hour/half an hour we heard church bells that can bother but barely heard when windows are closed.
The staff was welcoming and pleasant. Rooms were clean. 2 minutes walk from public transportation, and a few minute walk to Prague's castle. The view of the garden was very nice.

United StatesThe hotel is located up on a steep hill so it could be a little exhausting on a hot day. Other than that, perfection!
Gorgeous hotel overlooking the heart of Prague. The rooms were charming with comfortable beds, and the breakfast room and buffet were superb. The staff was delightful and treated us like we were checking into the White Lotus, offering us champagne and some great restaurant recommendations. The little outdoor bar has wonderful views, and the 22 tramline is pretty close by. Would absolutely come back!

United StatesGetting to parking was a bit challenging for those not familiar with the city, but staff once again went above and beyond and explained everything in great detail, so it was actually easier than it seemed at first.
The building was surprisingly historical, we didn't expect to stay in a palace or castle, but that was the general feel of the place. Our room was rather big and spacious, very clean and comfortable. It had everything we needed for a couple-day stay. The location was great, just a pleasant walk downhill to the city center (walking back was harder :D ). The staff in the hotel was extremely nice and helpful, very professional, spoke perfect English, and was always ready to assist and accommodate our every need. The breakfast was great and the dining room had the most spectacular view of the city.

The staff was amazing! They went out of their way to answer all of our questions and they made great suggestions. They made dinner reservations for us that were wonderful. In addition, they arranged for transportation to Terezín that was exceptional. The breakfast was great too. Overall, this is one of my favorite hotels I’ve ever stayed in.
