Good location near city center, clean. comfortable room

The place has its own cellar bar but unfortunately it was quite smoky in there.

I was pleasantly surprised by what I got for a very cheap room. For the price it was a reasonable en suite room, quite basic but clean and comfortable. Approximately 15 minutes walk from the main station.

Very noisy (VERY). Bed was a mess. Aside from that, got a very good eur message on departing morning from the host with “leave money or I will announce Booking” - not profi at all.

Cheap, well situated, clean. Good paid parking nearby.

Information says it is ground floor and I guess you could say that but we had to take our bikes up several sets of stairs to get to it.

Location was very close to the main square. An unusual place but clean and ok for what we needed.

Although there was a kettle there were no cups. We were only there for one night to go to the Ice hockey so it wasn't a big problem for us, but often if there is a kettle there is some tea or coffee.

Very near centre of old town. Staff were helpful and responded quickly to queries. Getting keys was easy and quick.

Bedding was basic and limited.

Large room, table and fridge inside. Great location close to the old square. Very convenient and good value.

maybe a bigger towel or a second pillow, and the mattress can be a bit thin for people with back problems, but nothing to really complain about. i was very happy there!

kind host, great location, clean essential room and the bar downstairs is a sweet surprise! great for the price.

The sign is not really above the entrance so you might need to go to the other side. I got to a locked gate (2pm, normal hour) with two tired toddlers - it worked out fast but for a few minutes it was very frustrating. Then the guy came and he was very nice and we got in and everything was ok. :)

It's a cute place, location is great, we only stayed one night so I don't have much to say. The bed is kind of a hard/thin mattress, for us it was not a problem, we slept good - but maybe someone else will find this info useful.

Bring earplugs because there is a bar below the hostel that tends to be open late. Bed was a bit creaky (mattress on top of wooden panel). No kitchen available for guests.

Would stay again - private room is a good value especially when staying more than a couple nights. Location is right in the old center of Tabór close to restaurants and tourist sights. Checkin is at the bar downstairs.

I think my assessment is fair. A few things they could've (and should've) done much better, easily. 1. There were seemingly used plates next to the fridge and the table cover has burnt holes 2. Heating stopped at some point at night. It didn't affect me though. 3. Only very light blankets provided (at the end of December) 4. Not sure whether it was a pillow or a cushion 5. Everything in the room looks so dated.

The staff was welcoming and spoke perfect English. Perhaps that was the only positive. Perhaps my expectation was too high. I do hope that they can improve and do well.

The place is fine if not much is expected :) well, if nothing at all is expected. In the middle of winter the heating was non-existent.. Our requests to turn it on were ignored. OK for a stoner, maybe, not for a real person. Actually, the tent would have been better, thinking about it now. Also no way getting a payment confirmation from these guys. Scammy..

Staff was OK. The place is pretty much as described. I.e. just above a sports bar and filled with... lots of herbal smoke... As an alternative to a tent at a music festival, this is probably ok.

Unique, fun place to settle for the night—I felt save and peaceful. The location is a quick taxi ride to and from the train station from the square just a few minutes walk away. I took a lovely walk and enjoyed the village and countryside, very pretty place.

After I left my room and took my luggage to my car, I went back to the hotel to say goodbye to the manager. They locked me into the bar for 30 minutes and made no attempt to release me. I would advise other travellers to avoid this hotel entirely.

There are no closing doors between WC, bath and the room. Extremely few dishes and they're all chipped and broken. Dirty. You have to wash plates and cups before using them. The room is designed for 7 people, but there are only about 5 broken and dirty cups. VERY ascetic existence. suitable to fall asleep for 1 night. If you are not embarrassed by the noise in the basement bar and the smoke from cigarettes and marijuana.

Perfect location in the center of the city. Pleasant and friendly host.
