Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

AustriaEverything was Amazing! Just the Parking was a slight issue but that doesn't really a problem.
Hotel Leon D'Oro was exceptional. When I booked the room I didn't expect it to be that Brilliant. We were 4 friends and there were 2 master bedrooms on 2 different floors with 2 separate Bathrooms & the VIEWWWWWWW from the Balcony was just breath-taking. I highly recommend this hotel. I have been to Prague 6 times at least but this was the best hotel I ever stayed in Prague. The staff was very friendly and Breakfast was good too. The best was the location of this place, within 5 minutes walk you can be at Wenceslas Square and 5-7 minutes walk to other direction, you are already at Charles bridge. The ONLY thing you need to keep in mind is that Car doesn't go all the way to the Hotel because it is in the Pedestrian area and if you need to book a parking spot, do it well in advance or just park at the Rudolfinum Parking Garage

United KingdomThe only thing would be that it was 25 C in the room when we arrive and it was far too hot for a comfortable night's sleep, it felt a bit wasteful when we're living through an energy crisis.
The 3-bed room we stayed in was very quiet and in a PERFECT location to explore the city. The beds were comfortable, the room and bathrooms were very clean with all the amenities you'll need. Most staff at reception were very friendly and smiling. The breakfast staff are fantastic. The filter coffee is very good, and the breakfast itself was also brilliant. I even had cake on my birthday! we could leave our bags in a secure location before check-in was available.

AustraliaNothing to complain about at all.
Firstly the staff! They were extra helpful. I had a little problem with Czech bureaucracy and they went out of their way to solve it for me. It's quite a luxury hotel and you pay accordingly. But, hey, enjoy Prague and live it up. Great central location. Superb breakfast. Overall, I felt quite spoilt.

United StatesReception was not as friendly as I would have expected. But that was the only thing.
Fantastic Location in the Heart of Old Town. 2 min walk to the main square. Family room was nice sized and had a terrace with views of the iconic cathedral in Old Town. Room was large and two bathrooms made it SOOO nice for our party of 4. Breakfast was fantastic! Having a car park was a huge plus as well.

United KingdomThere was nothing to dislike.
I spent five nights here with my daughter on 19th April 2023. I booked a twin room which, on arrival, was upgraded to a room with a king size bed and double bed - brilliant! All the staff were very helpful and charming and the breakfast was excellent with choices for all tastes. The Italian restaurant next door was also first class, as was El Gaucho steak restaurant just a few yards down the road. The hotel itself is just around the corner from the Old Town Square and couldn't be more ideally situated as the rooms are very quiet. I would recommend this hotel and would certainly stay again.

United KingdomThe walls are a bit thin so I could hear noise from the hallway and the room next door. If you are a very light sleeper you might want to bring some earplugs. Despite this I would have no hesitation in staying at the hotel again as the positives far outweigh any negatives.
Like other people have mentioned the location was excellent. The breakfast was great with a good variety of hot and cold options that changed daily. My partner requires Gluten free and I was impressed that when I booked it specifically mentioned if you needed gluten free options this could be accommodated. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Made you feel welcome and remembered, not just another random guest. Other positive things to note are that the Wi-Fi was very good, had no issues streaming. The fridge/mini bar in the room was large enough to fit a few additional things like milk or extra water in it. There is a vending machine in the lobby for drinks and a well known supermarket a short walk away.
