UkraineEverything was fine. The location of the hotel is in the industrial zone. We’ve stayed in The Beatles room ( the two bedroom apartment ). The wall in the toilet room is made of glass blocks, so it was not very convenient to use, while being with children. Very friendly stuff. It was easy to check in late at night.

The breakfast was good. People were friendly and we were met after the official check-in hours. I'd recommend this place in Ostrava if you're travelling by car. Will stay here next time if needed. Goof either for family or for partners.

PolandGood location in a calm area but close to Ostrava. A room - Elvis Presley - was big, comfortable, clean with a private bathroom. The door of bathroom was transparent with looking at you Elvis, what is very funny. We appreciate datails in a hotel and a room arrangement. Personel was extremaly nice (thank you!). A breakfast was perfect, with different things. A hotel has a restaurant.

IrelandIt would have been better if I had got a message before we were due to checkin. The bed was a bit hard for my liking.
We were in the Jaguar room which was really quirky. There is a bar and restaurant in the same building but they are not the same business. It's self checkin, which I didn't know until we arrived. You get a message on your phone with details on how to access the reception. Parking is right outside.

Czech RepublicIf there could be one thing to sour an experience, it's problems with payment. I hope Garage will resolve this issue for future international customers. Payment by card included the "choose your currency" option, which is basically a way to pay an average of 25% more money in a "exchange" fee by choosing your card's currency, instead of the local currency. (Don't do it). However, this always includes the option of either refusing, or, choosing the local currency. In this case, there was NO OPTION. Only an "OK" button. In fact when we tried to cancel the transaction, the machine locked up and had to be rebooted. Not cool. Especially as a frequent international traveler, I don't always carry enough local currency to pay my bill in cash when I just arrive at the hotel. I hope Garage will address this. I would have left a negative review because of this factor alone, but my experience was otherwise so over-the-top awesome that I decided not to. But, that means foreign travelers either have to pay in advance (via Booking for example), or bring cash for their room. Or, be socked with a large surcharge of about 25% (in my experience with these "exchange" deals in Europe pay-points and ATM machines).
Staying here was simply fantastic... Where to start: great service! Everyone was friendly and helpful and full of smiles, which made the stay fun as well as convenient. Room was beautifully done. Everything in this hotel has a "rock n' roll" theme, and each room is done up a little differently "boutique style" according to a specific theme like Elvis, Marilyn, or Cruisin'. My room was all about American Rock n' Roll, and the bed, bathroom, lamps, decor, everything was setup according to this theme and really fun. Even the hallways and staircases were thematically designed and decorated. Beds etc. were also clean and comfortable, and rooms were quiet. Restaurant in the hotel was 50s Diner like, setup like an original US service station (garage, gas, etc.), and had great food and service. Also local beer which was really excellent, for good prices. Breakfast at the hotel was also excellent quality with a great selection, and long hours as well (from 06:30). Finally, the restaurant served as a live-music venue in the evenings, with both a small stage for local talent, and a large ballroom/stage for more popular bands. I stayed for a local show and had a really great time because of the top-notch sound, lighting and atmosphere. Even during the show, the drink service was super fast and super friendly! Finally, transpo is easy even though the hotel is somewhat outside the center, as a single tram (#4) from the train station (Svinov) takes you right to the hotel. The stop is just meters away. And Tram #4 back in the morning goes to both the station, but also the main shopping mall in the center and main bus station for international bus lines (UAN). What more can I say, the experience was fantastic and I look forward to staying here again!

Czech RepublicThe sound proofing can be a little bit better, sometimes there are noises from other rooms, but nothing terrible. Shading of the room can be improved, unfortunately the light from outside is visible. But it is problem of many hotels in the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
Cat friendly, comfortable bed and stylish room. Breakfast is also great with fresh and tasty food. There is also available very tasty beer from their own brewery.

United KingdomMy only concerns with the room were safety aspects and the shower. I would've felt much safer as a solo traveler to have a chain on the door as well as a peep hole to see if anyone was outside, this definitely something to be mindful of if you are traveling alone. The Shower didn't drain away very quickly so the bathroom floor flooded, making it a challenge to use the other facilities in there.

Czech RepublicThe location is not close to the center and the environment (the last stop for a tram line) not very nice. The walls are pretty thin in the hotel, you can easily hear your neighbours under the shower. But it really deserve a try. The good points are far more that the, lets say, bad ones, and the bad ones are not so bad :)
A quite original idea and a lot of work, investments and dedication to it, all visible everywhere. Free parking place in front of location, good restaurant (with tasty beer), open until late, excellent breakfast. Everything was clean and tidy and the people were very nice.
