Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

It's an old building, so not so many power outlets for charging devices, but that's to be expected.
Affordable and clean, with a nice guest kitchen, it's a great home base for this pretty area in the Lužiny valley. Tábor is charming and this hostel is right off the main square. Took the train to Bechyně (only 61 kc one-way and 45 minutes, every two hours), which is another lovely little town.

Very noisy pub just below the room windows. There is a room of the shared kitchen, so if you awake early you need to be very quiet.
The building itself was amazing. The level of cleanliness was exceptional. The bedding and beds were comfortable. It is located very close to town square witch was withing walking distance of attractions.

Lovely hostel near the main square. Spacious room and very good kitchen. Everything very clean.

No sink by toilet so have to walk down corridor to shower room, though not much of a problem since it’s about five metres.
Fantastic location, just by main square. Spacious rooms. Kitchen has everything. Unique character, from inside and outside. No bunk beds. Large lockers. Books and magazines on shelves.

Everything was OK 👌! 😊
The location, right on the main pedestrian street, close to Zizka Square, the hard of Tabor. The house, Starek House, historical one, built back in 17th century. The wonderful dorm room. The atmosphere. The work done by Viktoria. The very correct price: 16,11 EUR, including all taxes for a bed in the dorm. Everything is clean. The place is quiet. The check in system is a modern one.

No staff. Everything is done by codes and emails. You have to go through a dorm to get to the bigger dorm.

It wasn't obvious how to check-in. The front door was open but there isn't a reception. For reference, you can ring the phone number for the hostel and they'll give you instructions.
The location is great. The price was very affordable, especially considering we had our own room in the hostel.

The whole place is a little bit old fashioned.
Good location, absolutely in the centre of the city. Nice staff, easy check in after reception opening hours too. Relatively clean room and bathroom.

The room I had suffered a bit from privacy, but this did not particularly bother me. The town is a bit small and there is not much to do.
The staff was great, even coming to check me in outside working hours (bus time problems)! The facilities in the building are also good. It is very close to the main square and about 20 minutes away from the train station by walk. I had a memory foam bed which was more than I expected! The place is clean, there are kitchen appliances which may be used. Also, free WiFi!

Maybe not the best place if you want to be somewhere social. The toilets could've had their own sinks.
Perfect location, next to the old town square. Room was big, comfortable beds, clean bathrooms. Very quiet when we were there. Would definitely stay there again. Nice to have a washing machine that you're allowed to use for free

A bit of a 'student hostel' feel to the place - which was perfectly fair for the price. However, I was surprised to find someone sleeping on the floor of the communal kitchen when I woke up!

I asked some questions through booking.com, but they never replied back. Just before a day of my arrival, they sent me pass code, without any answer. No socket near Dom bed. Noise from street and building corridor. Too bright in morning, bcs no blind
