Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesWe were all the way on the 2nd floor and with 4 suitcases it was a workout to get to our room.
Loved the location, you can’t beat less than a 10 minute walk from Charles bridge. The room was very unique and comfortable. We also loved the fact there were 2 restaurants right outside of the property.

United Kingdomattic room is has a number of very low beams. Receptionist insisted I had to pay Eur 2 tourist tax in advance even though it failed twice through their card machine. she then spent 5 mins on the phone getting the card machine fixed. why I couldn’t have paid later I don’t know. not great customer service having already pre-paid Eur 180 for the room

ChileNo elevator, and room on the last floor with big luggage. Not recommended for elderly in that floor, perhaps the lower ones. Breakfast very basic. Tea bags and coffee on top of mini bar were NOT complementary, you have to pay for those.
Location is fantastic. Very close to the astronomical clock so walked everywhere.

SwedenThings to think about is, old building no elevators, breakfast room is very, very small and noicy when fully occupied. Beds are hard but not uncomfortably. In our room there was a bathtube without curtain which made it difficult to shower.
Right in the middle of Prague old town, close to everything. A Unesco classiefied building, very charming. Price is good. Breakfast (very basic) included. Staff is very nice and helpful.

IsraelWould be nice if in the morning breakfast , eggs would be served , any kind would do. And the bath in one of the rooms was under an extended wall ,meaning the only way to get shower would be to sit in the tub , or risk falling out. I would recommand to replace that with an ordinary dush.
Lovely place at the center of Prague Very clean Efficient crew Tasty breakfast Lovely rooms ,very spaceus

IrelandVery Creaky floors next door and above us. Breakfast very poor. we had coffee and toast with jam. No imagination shown and room is small and cramped. Bathroom sink had not been properly cleaned prior to arrival. I also suspected that my travel perfume had been decanted by a half inch of liquid? Tired decor, pillows etc. little colour, worn carpet. Two lights not working in poorly lit room. Noisy large fridge which I unplugged to sleep. Unnecessary and expensive “mini bar’ and wasted energy of otherwise empty fridge 🤷🏻♀️ Extremely unfriendly lady at checkout on New Years Day at 11.25am, who entered our room to chastise us for “ Not respecting the rules of the hotel?!”… after we had stayed there 4 nights and gad been out later the night before- of all days to be a little flexible?!? I have travelled the world and even worked as a chambermaid in a hotel as a student and have never witnessed or experienced hotel staff entering a bedroom while guests are packing up to reprimand them. it was extremely rude and unnecessary behaviour. This lady need training and help to understand the damage being done to the business even if it’s her own hotel?!?!
Excellent location and spacious room 9. Great bedroom windows that open! Very friendly receptionist called Monika.
