The staff at reception could have been more knowledgeable about local recommendation and activities. Two of the receptionists merely looked up our interests on Google - I could do that and that is not what I was hoping to get from local staff.

The breakfast and breakfast staff were great. They made us feel welcome and cared that our needs were met. The room was well appointed, comfortable, and the turn down service was exceptional.

Breakfast was excellent. The best breakfast i have ever had at a hotel. Location central and within walking distance of most attractions. it is also located near the tram stop and can take you to the new town.

Our 1AM arrival brought us to the castle wall location. Our room had music playing, bead. fruit & special dessert awaiting us. It was all so welcoming and beautiful. The welcome letter was delightful. I saved it! A breakfast on rooftop level to start the day included. David gave the tram directions to many locations. At bedtime, a tiny dessert awaited us every night. From 4 to 6, wine and snacks are ready for happy hour treat. FABULOUS

There is nothing that I disliked. It was cozy, felt comfortable and happy. That is what matters because nothing is ever meant to be perfect ;-)

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this establishment, and I must say, the experience was fantastic! The food was definitely pricier, but the quality was excellent and worth the cost. The breakfast was particularly impressive, with a smaller menu, but the food quality made up for it. The facilities were outstanding, with attention paid to every little detail. From the immaculately made beds to the top-notch service, it's clear that the staff take great pride in their work. Speaking of the team, they were all so friendly, accommodating, and helpful. They went out of their way to ensure my stay was enjoyable. Overall, I had a wonderful time here and would recommend it to anyone looking for a luxurious and comfortable stay in Prague.

Excellent breakfast with a broad menu and choice. The spectacular view of Prague from the restaurant is like nothing I've seen. Compliments to the restaurant staff for the excellent service.

The staff was very accommodating, transfers to and from the airport were wonderful. Location is in a very quiet area with beautiful views of the city from your room. The included breakfast was wonderful as well with plenty of options to choose from. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Everything about this place is perfect!!

We were walking on this trip and did not realize in advance that the climb to the hotel and the castle would be so steep. I would still stay again, and would take the bus to the top of the castle instead of walking up, although that achievement is also part of our fun memory of visiting Prague.

If you want to be pampered, this is the place to be. The location was amazing, located directly below the Prague Castle and next to the Palace Gardens. The hotel also has a rich history as the home of the astronomer Tycho de Brahe, gifted by Roman Emperor King Rudolf II. We enjoyed an incredible evening meal on the Terrace with expansive city views. Our flight was early, so the hotel prepared a breakfast to go as well. One evening we retired early and enjoyed a bottle of the nice selection of wines available in our room.

The entrance to the hotel is at the end of a narrow cobblestone alley that is too narrow for a vehicle, so you have to carry your bags about 75 meters up a relatively steep walk. It’s really not accessible for anyone who might have trouble walking up hill on cobble stones.

The Golden Well is situated just below Prague castle offering amazing views of the old city. The included breakfast was exceptional and served at the terrace restaurant with spectacular views.
