Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The mattress in the bed was so worn out, that it felt like trying to sleep in a cauldron. Luckilly I was alone, so I moved to the middle of the bed where it was brand new.
Beautiful building inside and out, I personally am a big fan of the classic design. It really does feel like you are in an old hunting castle from the 1800's. Staff was polite, food was terrific, all in all a very good experience.

The car park is spacious but very dark. The apartment we stayed in said it had cooking facilities in the description but it didn’t. It had a sink and large fridge. It didn’t affect us, but worth knowing.
Location. Close to Jicin but cheaper. Well stocked breakfast. Beautiful modern room. Very clean. Beds were soooo comfy

Breakfast was minimalistic but nice
The villa was really nice, decorated really well which created a great vacation vibe. Outside there was a ping-pong table and a trampoline which the kids loved

No tea or coffee in the room but we bought in the bar at a good price.
Absolutely fantastic. The place has been refurbished to a very high standard and was a luxurious place to stay. Yes there is a train line behind but of no issue at all. The evening meal was great and good value and the breakfast excellent. Very kind and helpful staff. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Location of the hotel is unique. Quiet surroundings, park near by, almost walking distance to the center of Jicin (30 min walk). Good breakfast. Very helpful and kind hotel staff. Good for stay with children - swimming pool, trampoline. All good.

The arrangement of furniture is not convenient. When you walk in to the room, you expect to have hanger or closet for your clothes, shelves for your belongings etc. At the first day of our stay we had a breakfast around 9:00, and almost all the food was gone already (nevertheless, the cook was very helpful and prepared some porridge for us). There is a children playground available, however, most toys/chairs are broken or worn out.
Fancy room with large balcony and plenty of space. It's classically decorated. Despite the fact that the hotel is close to the highway and the railway station, noise levels are really low.

There is plenty to see in the area. Some might prefer to be a bit more in nature / rural area.
Friendly staff, great restaurant (incl a terrace) and I took the luxury to have the apartment incl terrace and sauna. Perfect on a sunny & rainy day :) Apartment is also very suitable to work in, with good wifi. Enough parking space on the side.

Small rooms. When the neighbors from Valdstejnska Loggie have some cultural event one could have considerable problems with parking, so try not to come too late on Saturdays :)

English communication with staff was not always easy, an advice it to make a menu in English what would help for ordering dishes.
Very kind and friendly staff, cheap and good restaurant, easy to park the car for free, very nice rooms.
