Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

PolandIt was horrible: 1. I could hear what people are talking about both from the left and from the right 2. unpleasant smell in bathroom 3. Blankets are for dwarfs, pillows and mattress are uncomfortable this hotel is a place where people usually stay on the way to Austria, and at least the bed should be comfortable. We were not able to rest well because of the noise.

Czech RepublicOld facilities, broken shower door. Receptionist didn't speak English. Located near highway with no crossings, getting to the hotel by foot is unpleasant. Also the road is extremely loud, can hear it even through closed windows (building C). Soundproofing in general is non-existing, everything from the hall can be also heard. No fridge in the room.
Nice authentic building, not far from the train station. Late check-in (not a usual thing in Mikulov). Secure bike storage. We were also able to leave luggage there for another day.

GermanyThe room we got is a bit small for 3 persons, but for one night it was ok. Our room was “ready” for small maintenance and based on the actual status there is no one in the staff to do small and quick repairs. Cuisine is from the end of 90 (give the chefs a chance and send them to todays cooking curses). It is also not nice to hear television and radio paralelly during the breakfast and smell all the ingredients from kitchen through the open door (give the staff a chance and send them to the etiquette courses, define the dress code, support the staff in their job, it’s your people). The surrounding of the hotel is a victim of bad municipal politics, busy street and bad architectural solution. You have to walk it through or go by car to visit the downtown.
Hotel has big parking slots, no problem with kids rushing out of the car. Check-in was quick and communication clear. Hotel has a good location for travellers from Poland, Scandinavia and Baltics heading to Croatia as a stop in the middle. From the rooms in building A is nice view in direction to Mikulov castle. Lot of small and very nice local businesses in downtown. Try Monner Cafe located just under the castle or go few kilometers to Dolní Dunajovice, visit the vineyard “U Mlýnků” 13:00 - 23:00.

GermanyOur family randomly stopped by this hotel while returning from Austria. And this stop could be just another of hundreds of similar ones, but not in this case ... The hotel creates home comfort from the first seconds! Hanka met us at the reception. She was not only highly professional but also very responsive, friendly and open and was ready to help in every little thing... It's safe to say that she is the perfect face of this place. The rooms are very clean, comfortable and thought out ergonomically… A wonderful view of the old castle from the hotel’s balcony wonderfully complemented the picture… The hotel restaurant was a triumphant addition… Despite the heavy workload for the staff (the hotel is always full), the service made the atmosphere just like home. Tamara and Marina, with their personal, generous and caring approach, made the stay unforgettable. They are the soul of this hotel. The kitchen is just amazing! Even the breakfast at the hotel is far from ordinary…. We wanted to stay for a few more days ... The establishment is located in a town that is a must-see for travel lovers ....

PolandTarrace that we should have with room was in fact ground floor with tables, if you want privacy, you have to close curtains. During the night, curtains do not cover lights that are in front of the hotel. Finally, most irritating thing - they DO NOT ACCEPT payment in euros when you pay with credit card. And when you pay with card they play with exchange rate. In my case it was approximately 10 euro this time and 20 Euro previous one. not much but these things should not happened! I would not notice if not the fact I made reservation 2 days before stay and i remembered amount i should pay. of course on booking panel amount is adjusted post payment so you think it's ok. Pay attention dear guests.
Beds are comfortable, rooms are clean, food is good for czech kitchen. Overall experience if you are lucky is very good. if you don't have luck, see what I didn't liked.
