I found the room a bit too dark with its wooden ceiling and a bed with a canopy. I chose it myself, so my bad... Breakfast was okay but nothing special. The receptionist at check-out was indifferent.

Easy access by car and enough parking spaces. Convenient location within a short walk from a tram stop. The restaurant was great - good food with friendly staff. The receptionist at check-in was simply lovely. The room and the bathroom were big.

If you like standardised hotels you won’t appreciate this quirky little gem.

This is a very memorable hotel. It really is in a very old building that has been sympathetically restored. The rooms are spacious and airy with high ceilings. The bed was comfy and the environment was quiet. The little restaurant served some good local beer and food. The staff were lovely. They offered parking behind the locked gates for the motorbikes which was appreciated.

I really missed the big mirror in the room.

Fully equipped small room NR.6. Very comfortable for one person, not sure if the room is suitable for 2 adults. Breakfast was OK. I went for dinner in local restaurant. Without reservation was problem to get table inside. I ate outside. Food was great.

Excellent room with a fireplace and a baldachin bed. There was enough wood to burn all evening. The whole facility made me feel like a knight in a castle.

Period decorations mean a creaking bed and a wobbly table that you cannot use for prolonged work sessions. No light in the shower and only a piece of cloth was provided as a window cover. So if you need more light from the bathroom to shower, you need to open the shower curtain and risk exposing yourself through the window.

A chateau now serving as a hotel. Period decorations and the feel of the old times. Including a very good restaurant that brews their own beer. The breakfast selection was not as big as in other bigger hotels, but the quality was way way better.

We spent a great time in Zamek Zabreh. Their service is super nice, rooms are clean, spacious and very well decorated. Breakfast is simple, but delicious. Zamek has a cozy restaurant where you can try tradition Czech cuisine and enjoy their in-house produced beer. You can also buy some beer cosmetics of decent quality at the reception. We will definitely come back!

Smell of the wood impregnation in a room but this is something you should expect in such a historical place.

Perhaps, the breakfast is too ordinary. And the city centre is not within walking distance. But I don't take it as a disappointment in any way.

The room is spacious and comfortable. I liked the design of medieval times. Furniture also helps with that look. The bathroom is huge. The staff was excellent, polite and helpful. All in all, I can recommend this accommodation.

The hotel is a real gem in a not so touristic city like Ostrava. The lady that welcomed us was really helpful and professional (which, in my opinion, is a rarity in Czech Republic). The interiors are marvellous, I loved the trophy corridor with animal footprints on the flooring, the mediaeval armour and paintings at the reception. We stayed in the 'Master's room' which has a very comfortable canopy bed. Breakfast was continental with a fair selection. We had one dinner at the restaurant which has great food compered to the rest of Ostrava. We had soup, two main courses and dessert. The waiter misplaced my order but the salmon I got was amazing. The waiter apologized by giving us dessert for free.
