Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content

- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

So many of the little things missing. No tissues, no safe, very much geared for business person spending perhaps one night there as little hanging space or drawers

Good location, few minutes walking to the shopping area, trams, train stations and Christmas market. Cafe on premises open until 2 am and opens around 6 am . Food available and snacks throughout the day. Breakfast range was good from bread , continental, cereals. Meats cheeses creaks etc A self service buffet Hotel clean and building warm in winter, staff helpful .

It was my boyfriend’s birthday and our anniversary during the stay so I booked the hotelroom in advance, wishing for double-bed room. Instead we got a 4 people room where all the beds were separated and couldn’t be moved together. Quite sad for a romantic getaway. Also, water with everything hadn’t been flushed down before our arrival. On our last day the cleaner entered our room at 8:30 am already when we were still sleeping. So keep in mind always putting the sign do your door which says that you are sleeping. I, personally, am not used to cleaners starting their job so early when many guests are still sleeping.
The location was just amazing! Breakfast was good, great choice of foods. The staff was helpful and welcoming.

There were no slipers in the room. We had to ask for it! There was no shoe horn as well! I know these are simple things but makes you feel better 😊

My room was in the 1st floor facing the street. the windows were not at all soundproof, there was little traffic at night, but still I could even hear people passing by, talking in the street. The walls were also super thin, I heard people in the other rooms. I only stayed one night, so it want that bad, but would not want to stay longer.
I liked the location, close to Alexanderplatz so greatly communicated with the rest of the city. The breakfast was good, the fruit salad was amazing. I also like the hotel restaurant opened in the evening so I could have a bite after the concert. I appreciated the vegetarian option.

The only kind of issue we had - poor sound proof in the toilet room. Probably, it worth to review door types in the rooms
The hotel overall is in the excellent condition with clear rooms, amazing beds and high quality services! I would definitely recommend it as an option to stay and most likely will stay their again myself

There was some humming noise in the room, but it didn’t disturb us much.
Great location, near to train station. Friendly staff and clean room. We got breakfast to go on a early check out on the day of departure.

The bathroom had a bit of mold inside the shower and in the bathroom's ceiling.
The hotel is one of the best locations you could find in Berlin. Everything is within walking distance.

The room size is quite small. I understand the size is average but somehow it felt too small for 2 people. Also, there wasn't an option to have a double bed.
The hotel is on a great location! one block away from train Station Alexanderplatz. The common areas such as the lobby during breakfast has been cleaned constantly same as the room has been cleaned daily.
