The room was well fitted with amenities but toiletries were insufficient or absent. Nothing except hand wash/shower gel was presented. The size of the room was little too tight, but still comfortable.

My only criticism is that the pillows are very flat, and when you only get one it feels like you're sleeping with no pillow at all. However we requested extra pillows and they were more than happy to provide them.

The breakfast is fantastic, a good selection of both hot and cold choices, along with juices and coffee. The staff are also great, very helpful if you have any queries and very friendly. Location is as good as it can be, right near Alexanderplatz station and an easy walk to most attractions. If you want to try traditional German food, make sure to try the Hofbrau Munchen down the road.

We were next to the lifts so we could hear the lift cables clanging when they started moving so our room was a little noisy but after a short while you didn't really notice it

H2 Hotel Alexanderplatz is my go-to accommodation in Berlin, having stayed here during my last four visits. The reception staff are exceptional—always professional, helpful, and welcoming. Combined with its fantastic location and excellent breakfast, the hotel has many strong points. However, there are some areas that need improvement. While the reception team excels, housekeeping falls short. In the last two rooms I stayed in, the sinks and shower drains were clogged. The bathroom soap was empty upon arrival and was never refilled, forcing me to use shower gel to wash my hands. Additionally, the toilet flush was broken and, despite being clearly visible, no action was taken to fix it. The pillows are very thin, requiring two for decent comfort. Despite these issues, the hotel stands out for its location and breakfast, making it a solid choice for visitors to Berlin. However, improvements in housekeeping would make the experience much better.

there was a smell of sewage at times from the ensuite but once the door was shut it was ok.

The location of the hotel was very good. The staff were very helpful. The breakfast was very good with lots of selection. Christmas Markets were very close and in walking distance from the Hotel. Taxi service from directly outside the hotel.

The pillows are really empty, you need 4 pillows to make a normal pillow. There is no closet in the room, and there isn’t enough space in the room to open a big suitcase.

Very clean and new, showers are great with hot water available. The breakfast is good and open untill 11 which is nice, the checkout is untill 12 which is great.

The shower door is not sealed enough and the water wets the floor.

We liked everything, the breakfast was good and tasty. Also we bought a sim card at Edeka and the hotel crew tried to help us to activate it because we don't speak german language. In addition when we was checked out early in the morning they organised us a breakfast for the way.

There wasn’t anything we didn’t like other than the drain smell which seemed common in many places, which drifted into our rooms and made the bathroom a bit smelly !!

The hotel was located in an excellent location for visiting Alexanderplatz. We found it very convenient for all the things we wanted to do. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and comfortable. We particularly liked the shower which was lovely. The storage was a little limited but we managed. The breakfast was excellent!
