The staff was welcoming and I instantly felt at home. The hotel has a family home feeling, the rooms are spacious and feel cozy. I am a light sleeper so I requested a quiet room facing the garden. I could sleep with the window open because it was so quiet, a really nice experience. I also loved the legit gym and sauna space. You have to ask for it at reception but it's legit! They even have tennis courts.

Excellent breakfast with great selection and great care. Lovely view to the garden. Metro station few minutes walk away and only a short underground trip to reach the old town.

The drinks at the bar were a bit expensive for us, we would go out for our afternoon coffee and cake.

The location is exceptional, quiet but a 10 min walk to Richard Strauss Straße U-bahn to catch trains to the city quickly. Cafes, restaurants and supermarket within 10m walk. Our room was at the back so we didn't hear the road from our balcony.

Rooms are a bit small. No cupboard to hang your clothing, just a small space for some coats. You have access to the gym and sauna but there is no explanation of how these facilities operate. When I wanted to go Sauna it was off. No water fountains in the gym. Paid lockers. No signs showing you where to enter the building. The equipment was very good though.

The hotel was very nice. Very nice location. Easy access to banks, shops and public transport. The restaurant was great, and so was the breakfast. Rooms were clean and comfortable.

What an oasis in the middle of Munich! This hotel has also one of the nicest and friendliest staff I ever encountered. My wife and I go to Munich often on business. On one of our trips we came back to the hotel tired, just wanting a dinner and go to sleep. On that day the hotel had an event so a quick dinner wasn't possible, but the staff took care of us and called to a few nearby restaurants and immediately got us a reservation. On the day we did have dinner at the hotel, the food was amazing. Same goes for breakfast. My wife also a really light sleeper and we typically request a quiet room, but rarely get it. This is one of the rare occurrences where we actually got a quiet room and my wife was able to sleep through the night. We'll be returning to Rothof whenever we're in Munich!

I'm traveling a lot but this hotel was a surprise. More or less in the middle of munic with entrance to a beautiful park and garden. Definitely a beautiful secret place to recommend. Beautiful little Bar in the lobby and so kind employees. Thank you all for the wonderful time🌻

Be aware the hotel doesn’t have air conditioning, but it stays relatively cool even on hot days.

Rooms were not very clean, found stuff under the bed and the sofa, must clean better, not only what meets the eye! Even if we don't see it it means the staff neglected to clean the floor thoroughly.

We have been super well received by the hotel staff even though we were there prior to the check in time. The receptionist has put everything in place for us to make sure we could access our room as soon as possible. We also have been upgraded free of charge in a bigger room which we really appreciated. Very curated hotel, from the reception to the breakfast over to all the services they offer, the staff is very professional.
