Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content

- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Great location close to the airport. The hotel was just what we needed before a flight home. Room was suitable for our needs. Car parking was a bonus. Staff were helpful and polite. An all round good experience

Kyriad hotels are always great. Comfortable, reasonable priced and good food. This one is on the outskirts of Carcassone but a 15 min taxi ride will get you to the famous historical castles and battlements. Just make sure you book a return journey as finding a taxi is almost an impossibility. We stopped over on a road trip and the location is ideal for easy access to the road networks.

The rooms are now very old fashioned which might put some people off - a bit like a Campanile 30 years ago! We didn't mind.
Scrambled eggs & bacon for breakfast - a rare thing in France and excellent !! We are in Tarbes again next month and will stay there again.

There was a smell in the very clean room. possibly a difficulty with old plumbing. Our reception at breakfast was not the same as the evening. The receptionist was very sharp and not at all welcoming. she made no effort to attend to the practical running of the needs of the guests.
The refurbishment has been a great success. It is very practical and restful modern design. Because of the train strike we arrived after 10 o’clock and we’re greeted by 2 members of staff who were very friendly and welcoming. A heartwarming impression of the hotel.

The bed was the most uncomfortable we have ever slept in, no side support sank in the middle. We chose the hotel for proximity to the Airport. When we asked the lady on reception to order a taxi for us she said the taxi's don't come to them as they are too near. They didn't have a shuttle so the only option was to walk. This took us 20 minutes in hot temperature and we had 2 large suitcases and two smaller ones. There isn't a foot path all the way and we had to cross a busy road, The cases had to be dragged over grass and stones. I would recommend, don't stay there, stay in Carcassone and get a taxi to the airport.
Nothing went well here.

at first the motel style disappointed me but this was fine once settled in. reception/bar area was really nice but food had to be organised on check-in and couldn’t be ordered on demand (understandable) but light snacks didn’t seem to be an option! For kids, they had ice creams but a lot of items weren’t available. Staff were nice, but they were busy as they only had 2 working to cover reception, bar and restaurant with plenty going on.
For airport, location is really really handy! 4 minute drive and 2 bakeries to grab croissants if not enough time for breakfast. secure parking is a big bonus, the wee terrace and swimming area was great bonus for a family; we had a swim and then had some snacks and a few glasses of wine. Room was basic but comfortable, secure and on budget. we had 2 rooms beside each other, but separate external entrances to each room (motel style). quiet with no noise and good air con. McDonalds nearby, aldi, lidl, shopping mall….but it is a business park location so not much else. would use again for airport.

Wasps! There were wasps everywhere, flying around the jams, Nutellas etc Maybe or was the time of year we were there, but they were such pests, even flying around trying to land on your coke when sunbathing.
The breakfasts were fabulous. All you could eat including fresh bread, croissants, pain au chocolats. There were also hot breakfasts, omlettes, crispy bacon, pancakes, fresh orange juice (or apple juice). They had two fab coffee machines too.
