It was an absolute pleasure to stay here. In fact we were so happy with the place and guys who run it, that we changed our travel plans and stayed and extra night.

The restaurant was superb and offered an excellent traditional French menu and carefully planned to match wine list. We enjoyed perfectly prepared fois gras and scallops to start followed by the most devine veal cutlets with hazelnut crust that I have ever eaten. The staff were friendly, helpful and provided a great service. The pool and gardens are lovely. Our room was charming and looked out over the gardens. The aircon was excellent allowing us to sleep well without any noise disturbance. The car charger is for simple domestic cable rather than a fast charger, however this was not a problem for us as there are a couple of public chargers nearby. We will certainly come again on our way to southern France.

Restaurant was generally good but slightly understaffed.

Excellent location, wonderful swimming pool, mind it is slightly outside Avignon but it is a very short drive to a large parking just outside the city. Host absolutely wonderful.

Note that there is no elevator and the steps can be a bit steep.

Best night of sleep in France. Comfortable linens, silent room, air conditioning, excellent blinds/curtains. Very nice staff and on-site restaurant and pool. About a 10-minute drive to downtown Avignon, with its own secure parking lot. Perfect for a short stopover.

The towels were clean but very worn; some new ones would be a good improvement.

We had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The room was very comfortable and spacious, with a small terrace perfect for spending time in the evening. The breakfast is excellent, and the on-site restaurant/bar is great for grabbing something if you don't feel like going out. They close it on time so guests aren't disturbed by noise. There is parking available (the gate is a bit narrow).

Everything. Modern room and bathroom. Good air con. Kettle and tea/coffee in room. Fabulous heated outdoor pool. Relaxed atmosphere. Warm welcome including for our dog. Free and secure parking. Food absolutely delicious. Prices reasonable. Absolutely no complaints at all. Would definitely stay again if we travel through that way.

Loved the combination of old and new. Amazing rock grotto in the grounds and lovely to find a pool! All staff were extremely polite and considerate.

I chose the most terrible bistro for dinner - it seemed to be the only restaurant open at 9 pm near to the hotel , I mean everything closes in France so early - where I ate one of the worst meals of my life. That is not the fault of the hotel, but of the miserable French restaurant scene. This bistro had strobe lighting and was priced like a Michelin starred restaurant. What is going on with French restaurant scene???

It's a lovely old building. There is that lovely smell of beeswaxed furniture. I enjoyed the walk down the hill and across the bridge into the centre of Avignon.

It's a bit of a distance from the city centre of Avignon.

It makes a big difference if you book a room inside the main Residence or a small bungalow, as I think the rooms inside the house are much nicer. We had a room on the top floor and the air con worked well, it was a good size and a pretty room overall.
